taking DD to ER

I'm on the phone as we type and the nurse is telling me to take DD to hospital. She had a tummy ache last night and this morning is pointing very specifically to her lower right side. Hoping its really not her appendix Will update later. Pixie dust and prayers for my little princess please

I was in that boat and my DD6 was pointing everywhere. It was her appendix, but little ones can be inaccurate reporters! Is the pain intense and intermittant? That is all I concretely can tell you was going on with my DD she was doubled over for five minutes, then asleep for ten this went on until her surgery- of course the intense pain hit at bedtime!

Good luck. Sounds like that's what it could be. DS was 9yrs old when he had his appendix out. He woke up in the middle of the night. He felt like he had to throw up and had a stomache ache. He did finally throw up but his stomache was still bothering him. He was able to fall back to sleep, but by morning he was in a lot of pain. He also had a fever. Called the dr. and brought him. Sure enough we were sent to the hospital. He had his appendix out later that evening.
