Taking alcohol off the boat

Hi there! So I understand the rules to take alcohol onto the cruise, but I had a question about taking it off at the end. The Dream has a type of hard cider in a wine-type bottle that my husband absolutely loves, and we can't get it at home. Would I be able to buy a bottle of it on the cruise, leave it unopened, and walk off the cruise with it? Since I'm purchasing it on the boat, I'm not sure how everything happens vs buying at a port (which we've done before, so I got that!). My thought is as long as it remains unopened, they don't care where I purchased it from?

The process for hard alcohol purchased on or off the ship is the same: you pick up the alcohol at the designated area right before exiting the ship on debarkation day. Disney Cruise Line can't know whether you will keep the bottle unopened or not, so they won't let you have it in your room.

If you are buying it at a bar, I believe they have to open the bottles there, so I do not know that what you are planning would work.
