Here's the facts;

1) Already purchased SWA tickets.
2) Great Ding came in. :rolleyes:
3) 99% sure I won't be able to use credit in next 12 months (about $200 credit).

Is there a way to "Change your Intinery" using a Ding, or do you have to cancel and re-book?

If I cancel and re-book, and not change my flight times, will I be able to get a refund later from customer service.

I know this comes up weekly, but inquiring minds neeed to know. :smooth:

for a DIng, you qwould need to cancel and rebook since the only way to access the available DIng fare is through the Ding pop up.

I don't think you would be able to get a refund though since you have to cancel and rebook.

Another poster explained it well...let me see if I can paraphrase what they said:

If you book a fare (for example and "internet one way") then that same fare goes down, you can get a refund. However if you book an "internet one way" then a Ding comes along (different fare level) even though you are not changing the flight #, you will not get a refund. Does that help?

I would go ahead and change it, take the credit and maybe you can sell it to a friend or family member that will be traveling within the year? It could be a good excuse to go away again though!
