Is this possible?
My husband has a neck injury and it's making it difficult for him to walk distances so I'm thinking of renting him a wheelchair for days at the parks.
Can we take these on the Disney busses? I did see scooters on the busses but no wheelchairs.
He's probably going to hate it, being in the chair, but at least it won't ruin his vacation with pain.

Yes you can take a wheelchair on to the busses the process is the same as the scooter are you bringing it from home. would your dh be able to use a scooter or strictly a wheelchair. For more info you should check out the disabilities board they will have more and better info for any questions that you may have.

but the wheelchair is a lot cheaper for us. He's probably like the scooter better! lol
Can you rent wheelchairs at the parks? I was just looking at an Orlando site.
Thanks so much!

Check out the disABILITIES! board. There's an FAQ section that has lots of helpful info on wheelchairs and ECVs. :goodvibes

Thanks:thumbsup2

The disABILITIES FAQs thread has a section about taking wheelchairs and ECVs on the buses. There is also a section about renting wheelchairs and ECVs, including places DIS posters recommend.
There is a link to that thread in my signature.
