Taking a purse/bag on rides

All the rides have places to stash your purse during the ride, even Space Mountain! I never had a problem taking them on the rides, HOWEVER, I did have problems remembering to take it OFF with me! I left my purse on rides twice! (got them back both times, but it was still nerve wracking!) So if you are forgetful, you may not want to bring one. Or bring one that is HUGE so you can't forget it. lol

I plan on taking a plastic bag and putting it around my purse and tying it off, do you think this will be good enough?

oh yeah... that should be good for splash..but for GRR i would put it in the free locker!

Before I knew about the FREE LOCKERS I used to take a ziploc to put my camera and cell phone, etc. in while on GRR. Now I put everything in the locker. Last trip my DD10 brought her own backpack so it took 2 lockers to hold all of our stuff (Me, DD10, and her friend 11).

I don't have a plastic lanyard. I usually put the ticket for the locker in my back pocket, sandwiched in between my AP. Keeps it dry enough to read the number when unlocking locker.

If you are wearing sneakers with socks I would suggest taking off your socks and putting them in the locker as well.

I usually carry my Baggalini messenger bag and lately my DD has been brining her backpack. We have had no problem taking them on most rides. Several of the rides (Maliboomer and Silly Symphonies) will have you leave all your things off the side, inc. any loose fitting shoes.
