Hi everybody.

This is my first post on the boards. I am so very excited about returning to The World this Thanksgiving. My children, DD 8, DS 6, and myself will be arriving to All-Stars the day before thanksgiving and will be staying for the next 15 nights. We will be having Thanksgiving dinner with Cindy in the castle with a dessert party later that night, and thats day one. :) We have 10 park hopping days, plus two MVMCPs, 16 ARDs, 2 dessert parties, one candlelight processional, and one day at Discovery Cove. I am a single father, and my children spend the summers, christmas, and easter school vacations out of state with their mother. This will be a once-in-a-lifetime vacation for my children and myself. I am legally blind and cannot drive, so we simply usually cannot vacation. Thats one thing that I think is so magical about WDW, once I arrive, I can take my children, safely and without worries of getting mugged or lost, anywhere on property. One day we can do Soarin' and have dinner with princesses, and the next day go on an African safari. At home, I've got to pull some major strings to get a ride for the kids and myself to the library. The past 18 months have been extremely hard on us. The previous winter caused a roof and pool to collapse, a bout of newly developed allergies causing my daughter to be hospitalized out of state while visiting her mother and away from me made everybody have a bad summer, I had an eye removed due to a hemmorage last spring, and finally the worst blow that could ever have hit our family, we lost my Mother to a very long and brave battle with cancer. If ever there were three people that needed a vacation.. that needed some time together just to have fun.. I think we would be high on the list. I don't have many people to share the excitement with, and most aren't "Disney fans". I am sure that we will vacation again, but this will be the EPIC one for us. This is only our second visit to The World and this will be the big one. This will be our vacation to end all vacations. So, we plan on staying a while, taking our time, and enjoying 15 days and nights of sharing some magic together. I just wanted to say hello, and share my plans and a little excitement. I hope you all have a magical Disney vacation planned, and maybe you might see me there. :)
