Has anyone taken a kid that is not your own? I was planning on going by myself in June, but now my little brother has decided that he would like to go. Our Dad has passed away, so I am just assuming that I need his death certificate and my Mom’s POA for him? Does that sound right? :confused3 I know that I need the standard BC or passport and stuff. But I could just see getting to Fla. and not being able to get on the ship with him!!!

There is a form in the cruise documents that you get a notarized signature on allowing you to take him. We have taken grandkids. Not a problem. We also get a notarized statement from the parents allowing us to get medical care for them.

That is exactly what we did. Along with Disney's form, we had a letter notorizred giving us permission to get emergency medical treatment. We just got back and we took my neice with no problems.
