Kinda scared ... we are mailing off our adoption application and portfolio. We have completed our home study, so we are finally done with the paperwork. Now, we just have to wait to be chosen by a birthmother...

I'm so happy for you!

There was a man on the news this weekend who is adopting 3 children from Russia. He said it best, "when you meet the kids for the first time, you can literally hear God saying, 'this is what you've been waiting for. You're a family now.'" He said that is the only way he could explain how he felt when he saw the kids for the first time.

I hope you get to experience that same thing real soon, because it is exactly the way that we felt.
