Taking a Break in 2019?

We'll be going in 2019 but in March. Hopefully before some of the chaos begins. My husband wanted to wait until Star Wars opened but we have toddlers that will be free until June. That made more sense to me. Hopefully it works out.

Seems like I'll be doing an annual trip in early March (doing 2nd one this year), and SW won't be open then, so I'll likely do 2019. 2020, though, I'm seriously considering skipping out on if the crazy crowds don't dissipate.

We're debating this question right now. Normally we go every three years or so but our 2017 April visit was less than satisfactory (hotter than expected and far more crowded). I've been trying to decide whether to go in December 2018 or just hold off until late 2019.

Waiting until late 2019 does make more sense even if more crowded and then we'd return for the 50th (our 50th anniversary as well as WDW's). DH is a big SW fan but he doesn't ride anything anymore so he doesn't care too much.

If money was no problem I would go solo in late 2018 and with DH/DS in 2019 as well. And for what it's worth, going solo makes the level of crowds far less a problem and factor in when I go.

I think skipping the initial crush of SWL is a great idea. It's going to be madness. And it's all going to be there, just as it is, a year, two, three later :)

I don't know if we will skip 2019, but you won't catch me near DHS. My DH and DS can go brave those crowds

I love Star Wars to death but their is no way I would try in 2019, the crowds will be scary. We are going in June and I have decided to go again in 2021 which will probably be super crowded as well.
