Taking a boat to Pioneer Hall for HDDR?

I remember seeing something on a Travel Channel show about WDW saying that you could take a boat from one of the parks to Pioneer Hall for HDDR. Anybody know which park? And how long it takes to get over there? Thanks!

You take the boat right outside the MK main entrance. The signs will guide you. Take the boat to Fort Wilderness and it is a short walk from there. We did this last month to eat at Trail's End, which is next door. I think the boat ride was like 10-15 minutes but we waited at the Magic Kindgom dock a long time so give yourself extra time.

The bigger boats go to FW, but try taking the little blue boats, they have a green flag on the front. They're more fun to ride. Don't forget to look for the bear face on WL, during your return trip.
