hi all! we were originally plannng on a may trip in which he would be about 22 months. i was really recently considering going in the last week of february into the first week of march. he would be 19 months at that time. the only thing really keeping me from for sure going february is him, AND i worry about refurbs. for those who have taken children do you think it would make a big difference for him, or be more fun for him, if we go that 2 1/2 months later? also for anyone who has gone in february do you usually encounter refubs on good rides? thanks!

Either time he'll have fun. My biggest concern would be rain in Feb.

We went in May when youngest DD was 18 months and she had a blast. She loved the characters and any ride we'd put her on. I don't think a couple of months would make that much difference. Besides as they get closer to 2 they just get more difficult :lmao:

CA weather is very hit and miss. Rainy season doesn't usually hit until the holidays or just after the first of the year. Feb. tends to be a wetter month, at least in N. California.

The last few times I went in Feb. It rained :( DHs bday is Feb. 9th always rained that week, so we started going later. :)
But that too was many years ago.
Re: babies age, I don't think a month here or there will matter much :) go when it works for you :thumbsup2

We took my son at 18 months then again a year later......he don't remember much from those trips, but he had a blast at the time. I honestly can't imagine
going to Disney without my son no matter what age.

Enjoy your trip what ever you decide!

We were there this past February during the week after Presidents day. The days we were there it did not rain, but it rained like mad in the days just prior to us arriving. In fact, they kept the park open a few hours later than scheduled on one day because so many people were miserable during the rain. I bring this up, because it can rain pretty bad in February. I lived in So Cal for 10 years so I know this very well.
