Taking a 2 year old in September - queues, rides, what have I forgotten!

Hi,
Finally convinced my husband that we should take my son to DLP for a quick visit for his 2nd birthday, I've had a quick look around and September seems to be a good time to go (Sunday 16th September for 2 nights, his birthday is on the 18th so we really want to be there then), can anyone see any problems with this? Will all French and English schools be back by then? Will it be low crowds? Thats my main concern with a 2 year old!
Is it like Florida in the sense that my son will be able to go on a majority of the rides? I know he can't go on the bigger rides but what about the others? Is there a lot for him to go on? We've been before but never with a little one!
Any advice would be great, thanks

We took our just two-year old to DLP (albeit a few years ago!) and he loved it. There is so much to do, most rides are suitable plus all the shows, walk-throughs, parades, characters etc. That time in September should be quieter too with schools back whilst weather should be warm (although rain can never be ruled out at any time of year). From sun-hats to rain capes, stroller hire to baby changing facilities and baby swap at queues, everything is available in the park to make life with a toddler easy. Take plenty of drinks and snacks in and pace yourselves and you will have a wonderful time.

I am sure others here with more recent experience of toddlers will have further tips. :goodvibes

Hi,

Never been to DLRP when Joshua was so young but have done WDW when he was that age.

Lots to do at the Paris parks, similar to Magic Kingdom at WDW.
Dumbo, Carousel, Peter Pan, Pinnochio, and much more.

Schools will be back by then. Weather more difficult to predict, like it is in the UK!

We took our son to Paris when he'd just turned 2 and he loved it. There was plenty for him to see and rides that he enjoyed - we must have done It's a Small World about 6 times that trip! It helped that we went with family so could leave him with grandparents when we wanted to do the grown up rides.

We took our DD at 21 months and she loved it could go on all the rides you would want them to go on, this year we took our 11 month old Son and he went on all the rides without height restrictions and seen the characters he loved. The baby care centre is good with a microwave as my daughter is a fussy eater at 21 months took the heinz little dinners for her and went in to warm them up no problem.

Thanks everyone, just what I wanted to hear. I will be booking before the deal ends on 30th april :thumbsup2

My youngest had just turned 2 when we visited DLP. He could go on a lot of the rides. He's 84cm tall and could go on those with a 81cm restriction like the Parachute Drop ride :)

He loved it and stayed awake all day and didn't nap at all as he didn't want to miss anything!

We went with our youngest when she was one, two and three and had a great time. Remember your 2 year old will eat for free in the buffet restaurants. :goodvibes

Yes all schools are back then, we've been twice that time of year and both times were quiet and the weather was nicer than during our July trip.
