Takin' on the jellies, SWEEEET!

This is a little OT from DL, but I went to the Monterey Bay Aquarium and had an awesome time ! The whole time all I could think of is Finding Nemo I brought my trusty Nikon with me to "take on the jellies!" Sorry if this is image heavy, I had a great time and wanted to share since its summerish and we're nearing the end of it

we just went to the monterey bay aquarium on saturday. I dont know how but somehow we missed the otters and the jellies and we were stuck in traffic for TWO HOURS with a cranky hungry 18 month old

We just bought AP's to the MBA last May. I remember thinking about Nemo. When I saw the Jelly Fish, I remember thinking about Spongebob and the Jellyfish Fields. The day we were there, Alton Brown of Good Eats/Iron Chef/ Food Network Fame, was there doing some huge food thing, and actually went Scooba Diving in the main tank!! That was awsome!!

We wanted to go more but it never worked out really well for us. We are going again next month and I can't wait!! Maybe we can get AP's again.... We loved all the jellies, they are so neat!

The Monterey Bay Aquarium is in Monterey, CA. I haven't been there in sooooo long. I think the last time I was there, there were 2 otters mating.
