Taken the plunge and booked for next summer

Well it's done we have booked the flights for next summer

Went with Virgin (Heathrow to Miami) going on the 6th August.

Depressed and a little scared how much they cost but the main thing we are going !!

So excited - just had to share

Congratulations!! I think the flights are the most stressful part of booking. Once you have those, it's pretty much a home run from there. Happy planning!

Thanks for the kind words - yes it is really exciting

The new birnbaum books are out on the 24th - and I've already pre-ordered them on amazon (I know there are better and more impartial guide books - but they really give me that holiday feeling) Ordered the grown up one and the restaurant guide for me and the kids one for dd - so heres to long cold dark evenings daydreaming about next August.

There do seem to be a lot of us going around the same time - heres to the Brits on tour
