Take time to smell the (DISCon planning) roses!

I constantly have to remind myself that soon enough we will be 49 days AFTER DISCon and feeling.....



So remember to take time and really ENJOY the planning.

Some of you know that my sister Linda (not a DISer) is coming along with me and I feel she is missing out on the best part of DISCon by missing the planning....

I am having such a great time getting to know each of your personalities....your humor.....your selection for festive headgear...your bad shoes....chatting with some of you...etc.

You are all making these months fun. DISCon will feel like such a family reunion when we get together!

You're so right, Karen. We had almost as much fun last year making all the plans as we did actually doing what we planned! This is exactly how we all felt last year. We really did learn about each other this way and we just knew we'd like each other right off the bat! The planning is half the fun!!

The planning process really is a fun part of this whole event. This is how we guage what we'll want to do and so forth. It's a fun way to get to know eachother before DC.

I agree, half the fun is getting there, getting to know people, being able to look forward to all the good times we'll have.

I love reading everyone else's plans....and I really am trying to make some (I am afraid I don't make a good commando) but half the fun of DISCON is all of the stuff that happens on the boards before we actually get there.

I am really looking forward to seeing old friends and meeting new friends!

now karen my planning is all done.my 6 days and nights are all mapped out.all I need now is just to be there and live out my masterpiece itinerary.I am still looking at other peoples plans,maybe just maybe I could sneak something in. anything at 3am!!!

LOL John!! These were the things we were saying last year-trying to fit things in at 3 am!! Or, no sleeping allowed at DIS-CON!! j/k We hope to not run so hard this year. It really poops you out towards the end.
But no matter what we do, it's the most fun you'll have-doing WDW with other Disney nuts is a totally unique experience.
