Thanks so much! :goodvibes I hope we just had an off day with the fairies. We've met them before and they were wonderful!

You got to meet so many characters, I think the dwarves is my favourite along with the hitch hiking ghosts...:thumbsup2

You didn't sound overly thrilled with DRT? would you do it again or was once enough?

Sad your on to your last day!:sad1:

We did meet a lot of characters. Being able to meet all 7 dwarves at once was awesome...no autographs though.

CRT was beautiful, but I wasn't fond of the dinner menu. If we eat there again someday, we'll do breakfast instead.

I just read this post and love it! Y'all definitely got in some amazing character experiences. I am so glad the rain stopped for you guys so you didn't have to take a bunch of poncho pics! love the tie dye shirts, too.

I have to tell you that the Aladdin you guys saw is the same one we saw on our trip and I felt bad, but we had to ask him to step away so that DD could meet Jasmine. She was too afraid of Aladdin (and most of the princes). He did get a high five from her at the end though. He was a good sport about it.

Madison looks so happy!

It was such a great night and I didn't want it to end! I was so happy when the rain stopped. :goodvibes

He was a great Aladdin! Aw, it's too bad your little one was afraid of the princes. Maybe next time she won't be!

Madison adored the party...we all did! I really wasn't quite sure what Tony would think of it, but we kept commenting to each other all night that it was $ very well spent. We can't wait to do it again!

Love your tie dye shirts!!! Jasmine was adorable also! Looks like you guys had a fabulous night and got some great pictures.

It was a wonderful night! A great way to end our trip. The tye dye shirts were awesome and super comfy too.

Ok folks. I'm extremely frustrated right now. I had the next update half way typed out and then it just vanished. So, I tried again. I was nearly done and you guessed it, it disappeared again. GRRRR!!!!!! I'm going to take a little break and then come back to all this later. I just cannot go through this again right now.

How frustrating!!!! I don't blame you for taking a break!!!

I'm back...yes, it took me a whole week to try this update again. Sorry!

Today was the worst day ever..departure day. :sad1: I woke up around 5:45am and got ready for the last time. I got Tony up a bit after 6am and once he was ready, we woke up Madison. Tony went down to make sure we were all checked out and I finished packing. I guess we bought a lot of stuff because I really had to cram everything into our bags. They were ready to explode! We left our room around 7am and checked our bags. We then left our carry-ons with luggage services and went to the MK bus stop (around 7:15am). A bus pulled up around 7:45am.

Once at the MK, we walked over to the monorail. As we got to the top of the ramp, one was pulling up. Awesome! Except, it was absolutely freezing in there! We took the monorail around to the Poly and checked in at 'Ohana around 8:15am.

Waiting to be seated

We were seated around 8:30am and once again, we were freezing! The a/c was really being blasted into that place. Pluto came around right away and so did the food. While on the monorail, I realized we didn't have an autograph book. We had packed it! Everything worked out ok though because we were given birthday and anniversary cards with everyone's autographs. The food was really good, but I didn't have much of an appetite. I think it's because I was so cold.

Lilo really loved Madison's hula girl shirt

After breakfast (it took forever to get our check), we walked over to the TTC and got in line for the Epcot monorail (around 9:55am). We hoped to ride Soarin' and SE. We wanted to head back to Pop around 2/2:30pm to use up our remaining snack credits and get our carry-ons.

I must stay here someday!

We were at Epcot by 10:15am and we headed straight for Soarin'.

We grabbed FP's first (11:42am-12:24pm) and then got in the standby line (30 minutes). We actually only waited 15 minutes because they needed a party of 3. Awesome! After Soarin', we did Living with the Land. It had a 10 minute wait and we actually had to go through the queue. We've always walked right on, so this was a little weird to us.

After our lovely boat ride, I went and got FP's for TT (1:10-2:10pm) while Tony & Maddie went to Club Cool. Madison absolutely loves that place! We met back up and rode Figment which was a walk on as usual. We then headed to the Seas to ride the Nemo ride and do Turtle Talk with Crush. I am SO happy we decided to take the time to see Crush. He picked Madison out of the crowd to talk to!!! She was thrilled. :goodvibes

We then headed back to the Land to use our Soarin' FP's (around 12:45pm) and after our ride, it was time for our last Disney meal...Sunshine Seasons! Madison had mac & cheese, applesauce, jello and chocolate milk; I had the chicken caeser salad with strawberry shortcake (of course) and iced tea; Tony had 1/2 rotisserie chicken with mashed potatoes, lima beans, chocolate mousse cake and a water. Everything was so good! After our meal, Madison started getting really upset. She didn't want to leave...neither did I!! We would have loved to stay longer, but it was time to head back to Pop.

On our way to the bus stop, we stopped for some last PP pics:

As you can see, they were getting ready for the Food & Wine Festival

A bus was waiting for us as we got to the bus stop which was wonderful. This was around 2:10pm. We had plenty of time to get our carry-ons and use up our 5 remaining snack credits.

When we got to Pop we headed straight for the food court. We got 2 boxes of character cookies, a Mickey rice krispie treat, Mickey shaped sour gummies and Mickey shaped goldfish crackers. We then went and picked up our carry-ons. I had to rearrange our bags to fit in all of our goodies. I then made sure to put all of our liquids into our quart sized baggies. I sat down in the waiting area while Tony & Madison played a video game in the kids area. This was around 2:45pm. We still had an hour until our ME bus would pick us up. I was completely depressed and was dreading the drive to the airport. I decided to go outside and take a few pics (which I didn't upload...just some random outside shots).

We all went outside a little after 3:30pm...the 3:15pm ME bus had just pulled away. I called my mom and chatted for a bit and pretty soon our bus pulled up a little before 4pm. It was a DCL bus diguised as an ME bus. It was still the worst sight I had ever seen. We had never taken ME back to the airport before, so this was new for us. I didn't want to leave, but I was looking forward to seeing my cats and sleeping in my own bed.

Madison started crying on the ME bus...she was so upset and it was breaking my heart. Thankfully, she was sitting behind me with Tony or else I would have burst into tears too. We were dropped off at the airport around 4:40pm. We headed upstairs to security and got through very quickly. We took the little tram to our gate and by that time, we were all pretty hungry. We went to Sbarro and each got a slice of pizza and shared a Sprite.

When we were done eating, we headed to our gate and grabbed some seats. Our flight was scheduled to depart at 6:45pm, but it was pushed back a whopping 5 minutes. Madison sat and read a box and worked on some last minute homework. Tony was doing stuff on his blackberry and I, of course, was writing all this down in my trip journal. My sadness had worn off and now I was just tired. I really couldn't wait to go to bed!

We had B boarding so we had to wait for all of the A's and then all of the family boarding. There were TONS of families with little ones. I wanted all of us to be able to sit together, so we ended up in the very last row. Yuck! Our flight attendents were great, but there were so many unruly children and there was a lot of turbulence. Not the best flight I've ever had. We did land early though which was wonderful. We were supposed to land at 9:20pm, but we started our descent around 8:30pm.

My mom picked us up from the airport and after a quick 20 minute drive, we were home safe and sound. The trip had been wonderful, but it was time to get back to reality. Madison needed a shower because she still had glitter in her hair from the BBB and the next day was picture day!! I don't remember how much we unpacked or anything else like that. It was good to be home, but a huge bummer as well.

Here's a pic I took of all of our MNSSHP candy:

Needless to say, we didn't eat all of that

I want to thank everyone SO much for reading my TR. Sorry it took so long to complete, but I hope you enjoyed it. As you can see from my ticker, I am exactly 37 weeks pregnant today!!! I finished up this TR just in time I guess. :goodvibes

I am so sad it's over. It was a wonderful trip. I know that last day sadness.:sad1:
Please update us when the baby comes!

I'm bummed your TR is over! I have enjoyed it very much. My daughters are much like Madison, they loved Club Cool and also cried when it was time to go home. :(

Do you have a future trip in the works at all? I cannot believe you are so close to baby time! :goodvibes

What a great trip report Meghan!! I felt bad for not posting as much but I did love reading every minute of your trip!!!! What a great trip had by all! I would have cried right along with you and Madison!!!

It's been fun reliving my trip with everyone. It doesn't make me feel as sad. I will definately post an update once the baby arrives!

So glad you've enjoyed it! I hate going home on that last day. We just tried to enjoy ourselves at Epcot that morning.

We don't have a trip in the works right now. :sad1: I've been trying to convince Tony to book another free dining trip for this year, but it's a no go. I do know that my travel agency is trying to plan an agent summit for sometime next year, but it will only be a weekend. I might try to extend it for myself. :goodvibes

Thanks Jen! Don't feel bad for not posting too much...I feel bad for not updating as much as I should have!

I am so sad it is over!!

But I am happy to hear your last day was nice!

Looking forward to the post when that little prince of yours makes his arrival! :surfweb:

Great TR Meghan! :goodvibes I really enjoyed it. I'm glad you guys had such a nice last day and were able to do so much.

Going home from Disney is always the worst, but like you said it's nice to sleep in your own bed again!

Can't wait to hear the baby update very soon. :cloud9:

I'm sad to see your TR end, Meghan! Reading about the last day is always the worst-- there's nothing like leaving Disney :sad2: I loved reading about your trip and hope you do get to plan another one some point in the near future.

Thanks for sharing your trip! You're so close to having your baby! I bet you're so excited!! (And ready to go!)

I'm sad too. I love writing TR's! Our last day was very nice...we love Epcot!

I hope that he decides to make his appearance soon!

Thanks Shelly! I'm glad you enjoyed reading. We were able to do a lot that last day which was nice. It's awful when you have to wake up and leave right away.

Going from a king sized bed to a double bed is NOT fun, but I don't really mind when we're at Disney. Tony always shares with Madison so I have my own space. :thumbsup2

I can't wait to meet our little guy!

Thanks so much for reading! I had a lot of fun writing this TR...it was a great trip. I'd really like to take a trip next year maybe towards the end of summer or something like that. 2012 is our 10 year wedding anniversary and my 30th birthday...lots to celebrate! I can't forget baby's first trip too.

Thanks for sharing your trip! You're so close to having your baby! I bet you're so excited!! (And ready to go!)

I can't wait to have this baby. I am SO ready to be done!
