Take Small Children By The Hand....a Sept Trip Report (Baby pics-Page 40)

We met King Louie next. He traded places with Baloo (I think) but we didn't stick around.

There was a trick or treat station on the way out and we also noticed that it STOPPED RAINING!!!! WOO HOO!!! We took some pics as we walked over to Frontierland.

Pumbaa was over by the Jungle Cruise. The ride doesn't operate during the party, but there is a trick or treat station over there.

I thought it was cool that there was a PP photographer by Pirates.

We stopped at the Diamond Horseshoe, but Madison wasn't interested in the dance party. So, we kept walking and stopped at the Haunted Mansion.

It looked so cool!

The HM didn't have a wait, so we got in line. You just have to ride the HM at the Halloween party! The CM's wore special spooky makeup for the party..neat!

After the HM, we walked through Fantasyland where we met the Queen of Hearts.

We then walked over to Toontown. We entered Minnie's house for some treats and then headed to the Judge's Tent to meet Mickey and Minnie.

We then went down Alice's treat trail to Tomorrowland. There were a bunch of treat spots on this trail. We walked through Tomorrowland and then stopped for a snack at Aloha Isle... where else would we go? I got a Dole whip, Madison got vanilla soft serve and Tony got a dole whip float. We then walked back to the Hub to stake out a spot for HalloWishes.

The fireworks were fantastic!!! We all loved them. After the fireworks, we moved closer to the Castle for the Villain show. Madison was really excited to see this (so was I!).

At this point, I was very thankful that the rain had stopped. A lot of people must not have come out to the party due to the rain which was just fine by me. We still wanted to meet Tiana & Naveen and get a picture with Cinderella's coach. We hadn't seen Donald & Daisy or Pooh & Friends yet either. I didn't know where they would be. Anyways...the Villain show was great! The pics didn't really turn out...sorry!

After the show, the CM's start telling everyone where the line for each villain will be. We got in a random line and it was for Dr. Facilier.

While we were still a few people back from meeting him, I heard the CM's say they'd be closing off the lines soon. Madison really wanted to meet Jafar and he was the next line over. I sent Tony over there and he was the last one allowed in line!

While in line for Jafar, we saw the Headless Horseman go by. I wish we would have been a bit closer, but it was still awesome to see. After we met Jafar, we got a spot for the parade. It was awesome! I didn't take any pics because I just wanted to take it all in. The parade alone was worth the price of the party tickets!

When the parade was over, we got in line to meet Tiana & Naveen. This was the slowest moving line of the night! It wasn't long, it was just a bunch of adults taking their merry old time chatting it up with the characters. A lot of the parents of the little girls around us were getting as irritated as me.

We were finally done meeting Tiana & Naveen around 11:15pm. We did some more trick or treating and took some more pics.

Such a cool pic! The line for the ghost hearse driver was SO long, so we passed on that.

We walked back through Fantasyland and the line for Cinderella's Coach was still super long. So, we took our own version of the pic!

On the way out of the park, we bought Madison a MNSSHP pin and a lollipop. I took some more pics too.

The party was absolutely wonderful and we were so glad the rain finally went away. I don't remember how long we waited for a bus, but when we got back to Pop we all got ready for bed. I was in bed around 12:45am.

Only one day left.

I love all of your MNSSHP pics! We had such a great time last year. My husband said he doesn't care for parades that much but he LOVED the MNSSHP parade (I can't think of it's name) so much!!!

Madison looks like she was having such a great time! What great memories! I'm glad the rain let up so you could enjoy yourselves!!!!

Wow!! I have absolutely LOVED reading your TR!! I've read a bunch that included MNSSHP (because we are going this year!!) and your experience seems to be the best of any I have read!! I've also been debating about doing PP or not, and I think all of your PP pics have made me decide that it's a must!!

How much fun is MNSSHP?? I went in 2009 and had a blast! Did you have 'Boo To You' stuck in your head for the rest of the night after the parade? I was singing it all week long. Did the HM have a lady sitting out front in make up talking to the guests in line? She was awesome!

You met so many characters! Awesome! And I love the PP of the hitchhiking ghosts. I didn't know they did that!

Sorry it rained but looks like you guys had an amazing time anyway. And I don't know why but I was always under the impression that CRT was buffet style? Is it for breakfast and lunch?

When I started reading I was feeling so bummed out for you because I was just thinking of how upset I would be if I had paid for BBB & then if it rained the rest of the day.

Madison looked beautiful in all of the pictures, so the poncho's did a great job keeping the rain from messing up her hair.

You will have to scan the Cinderella picture, I would love to see Tony's wet shorts!

I've been MIA for quite awhile so I'm really glad your TR is still going! The Halloween party looks fantastic and it's something I so, so want to do if our trip in October can still happen. Thanks! MNSSHP was a fantastic experience. I tell everyone about it! We're not big daytime parade people (too hot and crowded), but we love nighttime ones. The Boo-To-You parade is the best one I've ever seen.

Maddie had a great time. It was great way to end our trip.

I seriously can't wait to do MNSSHP again someday. It was so much fun! I did have the parade song stuck in my head the rest of the night. It's very catchy! I didn't see Madame Carlotta in front of the HM. Maybe due to the weather?

We did see tons of characters which is what we were hoping for. It was great. I love the hitchhiking ghost picture!

CRT is an all-you-can eat breakfast, but it's not a buffet. It's like 'Ohana and Akershus. They'll keep brining you out food. For lunch and dinner, you order off a regular menu.

I was beyond relieved when the rain stopped. The weather was absolutely perfect after that. Very comfortable.

That hairdo really stays quite nicely. It did leave quite a bit of pixie dust in her poncho though!

I'll try to remember to scan our CRT pic. It's so funny! The dessert trio was very yummy. The rest of the food was just ok in my opinion.

We did get a lot of great pictures from the party. I really need to get my trip pics printed out so I can scrapbook this trip!

I agree - I think it's odd that Belle is not in her ball gown and all the others are. I know Paige was a bit disappointed with that, being that Belle is her favorite. This trip we made up for it at Akershus. She got to meet Belle and have a picture taken WHILE she was also dressed as Belle!

Only one more day??? Boo.

Ah, I thought that they just brought out a platter at CRT for breakfast...kind of like Akershus. I don't think we'll do dinner there again, but I wouldn't mind doing breakfast. It's our favorite meal!

MNSSHP is worth every penny. I think it was one of the best times I've ever had at WDW. Madison was on ...lots of special attention for her due to her costume, BBB hairdo and birthday button/sash. I hope you can do the party someday!

MNSSHP is an amazing party! There is so much to do and I'm glad we got to fit everything in...fireworks, parade, villain show, characters and trick or treating.

They certainly did! Aladdin showed her how to pose just like Jasmine and Jasmine told the Genie that he has to stop making so many copies of her. So cute! Madison was VERY excited that she got to meet all of the Aladdin characters. I can't wait to do MNSSHP again someday.
