Take Small Children By The Hand....a Sept Trip Report (Baby pics-Page 40)

OH, she is so pretty!!! I see how much she looks like you in those pics! On our first visit to DTD this trip, the girls saw a girl getting done in the window and thought that was so cool!! At that time, they did not know they'd be going to BBB!

I felt the same way when they were doing my girls - so special. Sarah got the b-day sash too, but for some reason Paige didn't . They both had buttons on. When I saw Madison's mirror picture, I was trying to read her name, and at first did not realize it was the mirror - no wonder it looked so strange! DUH!

Great family picture too!!!

Thanks! Madison is definately a mini-me. Getting to be in the front window of WoD was such a special treat. We saw a little girl up there before our appt and Madison was secretly hoping she'd get to be up there too.

Hmm...I wonder why both of your girls didn't get the Birthday Princess sash. Very odd. Hahaha...the mirror pics are definately confusing at first.

Thank you! Our PP photographer was all about taking tons of pics. Can't complain about that!

Oh how cool she got to be in her own little area!! princess:

I hope the rain goes away!! :guilty:

It was such a special treat. I think she got picked because #1-it was her birthday and #2-everyone loved her homemade costume.

Stay tuned for the rest of our evening and to see if it ever stopped raining.

Beautiful pictures of Madison.

Pins & needles....leaving me hanging like that. thanks a lot! You better get to typing!

Thanks! She definately looked like a little princess that day.

Sorry! I'll be sure to update soon and not leave you hanging for too long.

Oh your mom did SUCH a great job on the Jasmine costume!!!

How magical that Madison was chosen to get her make over in the window!!! What a fun memory!!!

I love the birthday sash!!! I bet she go a lot of birthday wishes! princess:

Looking forward to reading more!:surfweb:

Great update! Sounds like you got some good shopping done, which is always an enjoyable way to spend the morning!

How special to get her hair done in the window! I had no idea they did that, but it sounds amazing! I'm sure she loved it, what a special treat!

I hope it doesn't rain at the party....MNSSHP is my favorite and I would be so sad to hear that some things would be rained out!!! I can't wait to hear all about it!

Your mom did a great job on the outfit :thumbsup2 It's much better when you have a outfit that's unique that you know no one else will have.
Yours & Tonys tye-dye shirts look great too.
Madison looked beautiful & that was just a great experience for her to have sitting where everyone could see her.
The PP pictures were really good.
I hope the rain stayed away for your party.

I'm In! Can't wait to hear about mickey's not so scary halloween party :) I went to the christmas party a few years ago and loved it! I also loved your daughter's BBB and Star Wars training pics :). This past trip we took a walk around the epcot resort area for the first time and it was so nice :) My mom likes to stay at wilderness lodge whenever we get a deal on a deluxe resort but I would love to stay at the beach club sometime. We only got to spend a few minutes there and I loved it! Loved the whinnie the pooh doll you got for your new baby as well.

My mom is very talented. She used to make me and my sister's Halloween costumes all the time.

Getting her makeover in the front window was awesome! There was even a special little bench for me and my DH to sit on as well. It was a great experience.

She got lots of Happy Birthday's from the CM's all week. She felt very special.

Great update! Sounds like you got some good shopping done, which is always an enjoyable way to spend the morning!

It was our last opportunity to shop and we took advantage of it! The only downside was that we had to shove everything into Tony's backpack since we weren't going back to Pop. Since we were leaving the next day, we didn't want to worry about getting our stuff sent back to the resort.

It was such a special treat. I had no idea they did that either until we were there that day. Look for it on your next trip!!

You'll just have to stay tuned to hear about our MNSSHP experience. Coming soon!

My mom is awesome. Madison got to go and pick out the fabric she wanted too. They didn't have the exact Jasmine color, but Maddie didn't mind.

I loved our tye-dye shirts. We got them off of etsy.com. The seller is One Great Thing and she is AMAZING! I highly recommend her.

Madison looked like such a little princess and it nearly made me cry. She's growing up so fast!

Party update will be next...hopefully later this week.

MNSSHP is definately worth every penny. I would do it again in a heartbeat.

We love getting PP pics and on this trip, we really got some great shots.

I'd love to stay at the Beach Club someday. Epcot is my DH and DD's favorite park and I'd love to be able to walk there whenever we wanted.

You totally reminded me about the Winnie the Pooh stuff animal! I'll have to go get it out and put it in the nursery.

What a fun day so far! Madison looks soo cute all done-up! I usually think she looks like your DH but in those pics she looks just like you.

Can't wait for MNSSHP!

Only a few people have ever said that Madison looks like Tony. You should see her pics up against my pics from when I was her age...spitting image!

I can't wait to update about MNSSHP!!!

Your mom did an awesome job on that costume. It's beautiful. What a special treat to be done in the windwo too. I bet those PP pics are worth the price of the CD alone.

It was nice to see the process of BBB as well as the end result, Madison looks lovely and well done to your mum, that outfit is beautiful!

I think if I ever have a little girl I'd want to bring them to BBB but I'd want a princess makeover too! Did you make you and Tony's shirts or buy them? they look very professional!

Hope the rain stays away for the party!

Great report on BBB!! I'm glad you had a great experience even though it was at DTD ( I won't comment on that hehe) Madison looked so grown up with her hair done and that Jasmine outfit was wonderful!! We used to always given special attention to girls who came in with customs at MK BBB. Of course we fussed over the ones that paid $150+ too :) The PP pics were awesome too! Hopefully the rain stopped!

She did a great job on the costume. Madison absolutely loved it! We had a wonderful experience at the BBB...she did it once before when she was 3 1/2 years old. I couldn't believe how many pics our PP photographer took!!!

I love the BBB. It's such a fun experience for little girls. I wish it was there when I was little!

I didn't make our tye-dye shirts. I bought them off of etsy.com from a seller called One Great Thing. She's awesome!!

Thanks! Hahaha...I would have loved to take her to the BBB at the Castle, but it wasn't possible. We only had 7 day tickets for an 8 day trip. We were using our MNSSHP tickets to get into the MK at 4pm for our CRT dinner. I wanted to make sure she was all done up before we ate there.

When Madison was 3 1/2, my mom paid for her BBB experience (when it was only at DTD). She said that if she was ever a CM, that's where she wanted to work!

Hey Meghan! :goodvibes

I read your post last night but haven't had a chance to comment until now. WOW!!! Maddy's costume turned out so amazing - your Mom did a phenomenal job!!! What a talented lady! :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

Maddy looked absolutley adorable - such a photogenic girl!!! :cutie:

Can't wait to read about MNSSHP - you've got me on the edge of my seat!!! ;)

Madison looks adorable in her BBB pictures! What a special experience for her-- the CM's were definitely right in exclaiming over her outfit. Your mom did such an amazing job! I wish I could sew!

I love how her costume turned out. She used it for Halloween too, but she had to wear a bunch of layers under it! My mom is very talented...she used to make our Easter, Christmas, etc dresses each year as well.

Madison can be photogenic when she feels like it. The first few shots that the PP photographer took weren't great....she was forcing a smile. Once she relaxed, the pictures turned out so good!

I'll try not to keep you on the edge of your seat for too long. I hope to do another update either tomorrow or Friday.

Thanks! It was a wonderful experience and I hope we can do the BBB one more time. I know she'll soon think she's too old for it. :sad1: I love the way her costume turned out. So cute!

Wow, your mom sure is talented. That is a fantastic Jasmine outfit! It looks comfy too!

Hope it stops raining in time for the party!

My mom is pretty awesome when it comes to sewing!! Madison was very comfortable in her costume, which is always a good thing.

We got to the Contemporary and headed up to the monorail. We waited FOREVER!!! I was getting very impatient and Tony had to keep telling me to calm down. Once we got on the monorail, the skies just opened up and it started pouring. My heart just dropped.

On the monorail

Once we got off at the MK, it was around 3:45pm. We couldn't get into the MK until 4pm, so we hung out at the monorail station for awhile.

Little princess

When it was 3:55pm, we decided to start walking to the turnstiles. We threw on our ponchos and I hiked up Madison's pants above her knees so she wouldn't be soaked. The rain was nearly up to our ankles and when we got to the gate, Madison and I were shivering. They had to check our bags, scan our tickets and give us our wristbands. Not exactly easy to do with ponchos on! Once we got into the park, we headed for the Emporium. We wanted to stay inside for as long as possible to stay dry. To make matters worse, we couldn't cut through the Castle to get to CRT....we had to take the long way around. GRRRR!!!!

There were TONS of people huddled under the Castle and we had to push our way through to check-in to CRT. We got taken inside right away and the CM's were nearly pushing us over to Cinderella. First, we took off our ponchos and tried to look presentable. Looking back, I should have had just Madison pose with Cinderella, but we took a family pic instead. I really should scan in our picture because it's hysterical!!! Tony's shorts were soaked from the hem about half way up.!!! Something to look back on and laugh about.

We were SO hungry when we got seated and we devoured some rolls. We were also really cold and the restaurant was a bit chilly as well. The rolls were nice and warm though. Maddie got chicken soup (I ate it), chicken nuggets and an ice cream sundae. She also got a birthday cupcake. Tony got the beef barley soup and I got salad for an appetizer. We both got the beef tenderloin for our entree. For dessert, I got the trio and Tony got the creme caramel. He hated it! I took a bite of it and I must say, it was pretty gross. Here are our CRT pics:

*Side note...I find it odd that all of the princesses are dressed up except for Belle. I know she's in her ball gown at Akershus, but she looks a little out of place in her blue dress at CRT.

It was so pretty in there!

My dessert trio

The rain was still coming down when we were done eating (around 5:30pm). So, we put our ponchos back on and went and did Philharmagic, Peter Pan, Snow White and Winnie the Pooh (all walk ons). At 6:30pm, we got in line for the 7 Dwarves (they typically meet at the stroller parking over by PP and Small World). A CM came over and let us know they'd be meeting at the riverboat dock due to the rain. So, we all moved over there (we were about 3rd or 4th in line). While we were waiting, Tony checked us in for our flights and we got group B #'s 9, 10 and 11...not too bad.

Right before 7pm, the Dwarves came out and they were SO cute!

We put our ponchos back on and started trick or treating wherever we saw a spot. We headed into Adventureland and saw Jane & Terk greeting guests at the Adventureland Veranda. We hopped in line.

Jane was hysterical!

Right next to the veranda, a door was open and we headed inside. There were 3 meet & greet stations!!! We got to see a lot of characters.

Timon was first. After he went in, Rafiki came out (we skipped him).

Up next was Aladdin and Abu. Shortly after we met them, they went in and Jasmine and the Genie came out (Madison was super excited!)
