Take Small Children By The Hand....a Sept Trip Report (Baby pics-Page 40)

My daughter got really upset that her drawing didn't look perfect either...I felt really bad, but I reminded her that it was just a fun thing to try. Bummer you missed out on all of the characters!

Looking forward to your MNSSHP update! :thumbsup2

Madison is definately like me....a perfectionist. However, I'm a horrible artist and I just wanted to have some fun with her. It didn't quite turn out that way. I think that's the only time EVER that she's had any sort of meltdown at WDW!

Our next day is definately a lot of fun, with some ups and downs as well!

Nice drawing of Stitch! :thumbsup2

Great scores for TSM! My accuracy is never that high!

Can't wait to read about MNSSHP! I had so much fun when I went in 09.

I've been following along with your blog. The baby's room is looking good! :)

Thanks! I'm not an artist at all....I can do stick people and block letters; that's about it!

I was so proud of my scores all day. Tony's accuracy is always low but his score is always ridiculously high!

We had a great time at MNSSHP and I can't wait to share all of the details with everyone. I might have to break it up into 2 posts....so many pics!

Aw, thanks. The carpet is getting installed on Wednesday and I can't wait!!! It's so echo-y in there right now and it makes me nuts.

I think your Stitch picture looks great. We've never did the animation before, somehow we missed it. I will have to find it on the next trip.
Too bad you didn't get a family night picture in front of the hat. I think they should keep the photographers out there until the park is closed even if it is emh.

I can't wait to see Maddie dressed up for MNNSHP!

so i read your last PTR some time ago, but am just making it over here. I love the curls on your dd! sounds like you had some great crowds during your trip!

Thanks! I had a lot of fun at the animation academy. It's inside the Magic of Disney Animation Building in the same kind of area as Sorcerer Mickey.

I'm pretty bummed about no photopass pics that night at DHS. I was so surprised that they were all packing up and it wasn't even 10pm yet!

MNSSHP update will be coming soon. Maddie has another dance show today, we have to clean the house, etc. Tomorrow is my baby shower and Sunday is the HUGE St. Patrick's day parade.

Thanks for reading!

Sounds like a FABULOUS time at DHS!!! Can't wait to hear about MNSSHP!!! Have a GREAT time at your baby shower!!! Hope that little boy gets spoiled rotten!!! ;)

We did have a fun day at DHS...thanks to our GAD FP's!!! MNSSHP was an absolute blast and SO worth every single penny.

I already feel so blessed that I'm even having a shower. My mom is the greatest!

Fun day at DHS!! When we went to the animation class last summer, Paige did the same thing - got all upset at her drawing and wouldn't let anyone see it. Well, except me. It wasn't that bad.

Hope your shower was fun and your feeling better too.

I can't wait to hear about MNSSHP!!

I have our pictures somewhere, but I wish I rememeber where!!

My shower was a ton of fun and I need to upload the pics today. I still have a bit of an annoying cough, but other than that I'm feeling better.

MNSSHP update coming soon!

I love reading your trip report! We are going this September, and while reading I noticed I pretty much have a lot booked in the same order as you, which makes me more excited reading!! popcorn:: Looks like you had a wonderful time! :goodvibes
Cant wait for your next installment!

How was your baby shower?? :)

It was wonderful! I'll talk about it a little bit in my next post...hopefully tomorrow.

Thank you so much for reading! I'm glad you've been enjoying my TR. I hope to get another update posted today. :goodvibes

I'm caught up and enjoying it completely. It's getting me in the mood for my own trip coming up. Not that I needed any help with it but still.

All caught up, and enjoying it as usual!

Sounds like a great meal at Crystal Palace...so wonderful to be in an empty park in the morning! I have never done that, but it seems really wonderful! You really get a lot done! I don't think I've ever noticed the metal palm trees in tomorrowland...I will look for them next time! Funny how you just overlook things...there's just so much that goes on there!

Those bugs seem crazy. Very cool that Madison got to do Jedi Training Academy though! That is some impressive accuracy on TSM.

I do hate how the photopass people close before the park actually closes. Very frustrating...I would assume most people would want a picture on their day out!

Approaching the last day is always sad. At least MNSSHP is left, that is always so much fun!

So glad you're enjoying my TR! I hoped to update yesterday, but I just didn't have time.

Once again, I woke up around 8am. I guess I just can't sleep much later than that at Disney! Madison woke up around 8:15am...she's not much of a late sleeper ever! As I looked around the room, I started feeling sad. I didn't want to pack up all this stuff and go home. How does time go by that quickly?! After more than 6 months of planning, it was all coming to an end. I opened our door and got our ME info. So sad. :sad1: ME would be picking us up at 3:45pm the next day. I didn't want to leave!

Madison filled out her journal pages in her Guide to the Magic book while Tony and I discussed the plan for the day. We would take the bus to DTD, go to the BBB and then take a bus over to a MK resort. We could then take the monorail to the MK for MNSSHP.

Tony got us breakfast again...an everything bagel for him, Pop waffle with strawberries for me and Mickey waffles for Madison. YUM! We all started getting ready sometime around 9:30/9:45am. We hoped to leave the room around 11am or so. That way, we could go get Madison's Jedi training pics on our photopass card and do a little more shopping before her BBB appointment.

We got out by the bus stops and noticed there was a DTD bus. So, we sprinted down and got on. Phew! This was a few minutes before 11am. Everything was going according to plan so far!

Once we got to DTD, we stopped in the Christmas store and bought a 2010 ornament. We then stopped into the World of Memories store and I bought new family window clings. I was very upset to see they didn't have any babies. They only had moms, dads, girls, boys and pets. Bummer! We then went to Pin Traders and Madison bought a 2010 pin and a Mr. Pricklepants pin.

I believe we headed over to the Photopass place after this and they easily added Madison's jedi pics to our PP card. Yay!!! The PP CM loved Madison's Jasmine costume. She said to come back after the BBB and she would take pics in the little studio there. :goodvibes At this time, we were a bit hungry and wanted a snack. Tony got in line to get us a pretzel and frozen lemonade, but the line just wasn't moving. So, we all went into World of Disney to look around for awhile.

Madison bought an Epcot picture holder that she had seen the other night at Epcot. It's so cute! After we made our purchases, we headed over to the BBB and checked in around 1pm. I don't remember what time our appointment was, but we didn't get called until 1:30pm.

Once again, all of the CM's just LOVED Madison's Jasmine costume. When I told them that my mom had made it, they just oohed and aahed even more. Once our name was called, we were told that Madison had been selected to get her hair done in the front window....how special! I didn't even know that was an option.

Getting walked up to the special seat

They kept saying "Make way...princess coming through."

While she was getting her hair and make-up done, so many people stopped to look at her. Her Fairy Godmother-in-Training even showed her how to do the princess wave to the people outside.

We got our own special PP photographer too!

Gorgeous!

They even gave Madison a special Birthday Princess sash to wear. I couldn't stop smiling...she looked so cute! During her appt, it had been raining on and off and it continued raining once she was all done. So, we cut through the shops as much as possible on our way back over the the PP place. Our PP photographer took a TON of pics, so here are some of my favs:

After our little photo shoot, it was still raining so we cut through the shops as much as possible on our way to the bus stop. We decided to take the Poly/CR bus and it was pulling up as we got there (around 2:45pm). The sky was dark and cloudy and I was really hoping that the rain would hold off for the party. This was the one night I didn't want it to rain!

Up Next...Will it ever stop raining?

OH, she is so pretty!!! I see how much she looks like you in those pics! On our first visit to DTD this trip, the girls saw a girl getting done in the window and thought that was so cool!! At that time, they did not know they'd be going to BBB!

I felt the same way when they were doing my girls - so special. Sarah got the b-day sash too, but for some reason Paige didn't . They both had buttons on. When I saw Madison's mirror picture, I was trying to read her name, and at first did not realize it was the mirror - no wonder it looked so strange! DUH!

Great family picture too!!!

Oh how cool she got to be in her own little area!! princess:

I hope the rain goes away!! :guilty:

Beautiful pictures of Madison.

Pins & needles....leaving me hanging like that. thanks a lot! You better get to typing!
