Take Out Window at Via Napoli

I think on Allears I saw that Via Napoli has a take out window.

Has anyone done this? My ds12 loves pizza, but my older ds is unable to sit at a TS.

Is the menu the same?

No, the pizza window has no relationship with Via Napoli. It is your standard Disney pizza that is served.

I was about to post that first sentence as well. The take out window is the Disney frozen and reheat pizza. Why they don't just sell slices of Via Napoli pizza I'll never understand. It really isn't that hard to do.

My guess is that they wouldnt be able to keep up with the demand. Can you imagine the line up if people knew it was truly via napoli pizza? So not only do they have to make pizza for inside the restaurant, but the massive lineup outside too. Would be nice to have via pizza as take out but oh well. I doubt it'll ever happen.

It really isn't that hard though. All the big pizza places manage to do it daily here (even the best ones in the city). You make pies, you give 2 or 3 options, you allow no substitutions, and keep 1 or 2 ovens going with the pies always piping hot. Say what slice you want, they cut and serve, pay and on your way. The secret is to making it a very limited option so say Cheese, Pepperoni, and Veggie and that's it, no gluten free, no allergy free, no sausage, nothing extra just the 2 or 3 and if you want anything else you have to go inside.

A true Neapolitan pizza is a 1-minute thing, really. They cook fast and hot. If you have a limited selection, prepped, they cook fast.

I agree, keep it simple and only offer 2 or 3 types of pizza. Its a mystery as to why via wont make the pizza. i'd like to know the reasoning behind offering 'disney pizza' at the widow. Sadly, i think it'll continue to remain a mystery.

Don't do it !!! It's definitely not Via Napoli. It's 100000x worse than typical Disney pizza. I actually really like Disney pizza and I couldn't even stomach the cardboard junk they serve there.
