Take out from Rose and Crown Pub?

Is it possible to get a dessert or the fruit and cheese plate to go? When we eat our way around the World Showcase, we like to get our snacks and sit on a bench, watching all the people go by. We're bored with the fish and chips from the Yorkshire Fish Shop and looking for something different to try. Thanks!

On our last trip I specifically wanted to try the Stickey Toffee Pudding from R&C, but didn't want to sit in the restaurant for it. I asked one evening at the podium if I could get a dessert as take-out. There was a pretty good string of people waiting to checkin so obviously the restaurant was busy and I was asking at prime dinnertime. The answer was, understandably, "No."

The next day I went back in the midafternoon with the exact same request. The restaurant was not busy at all. I was told that I would have to at least be seated but the server would make my dessert "to-go." Less than five minutes after sitting down at the table I had the boxed dessert ready to go, left cash on the table with a nice tip, and was on my merry way to the english garden area to enjoy the treat.

In the past, I've been able to order the Fruit and Cheese starter as a take-away item at the bar in the Pub section of R&C. That and a G&T make a wonderful pre-illuminations treat to enjoy at a table in the beer garden beside the restaurant.
