I added this question on to someone elses take out question, but it got burried and I really want to know, so I'm going to repost, I hope that is okay :D.

Would it be possible to got some of that cheese soup from Le Cellier in a to-go cup? I have read so many reviews and it is my favorite type of soup, but I know DH won't go for a sit down meal there.

Does anyone know if Le Cellier ( or any of the restaurants) will do simple things "to-go"?

TIA

All you can do is stop in and ask. I've had some of the the full service restaurants accomodate these types of requests, and some refuse. Alternatively, if you don't want to spend the time on a full dinner, just have the soup as an appetizer and off you go!

Thanks for the reply!

I guess I will try it when we are there. I didn't want to feel silly asking if I knew it would be an outright "NO". DH wont go for the just go in for appetizers or I'd try that. He's not interested in leCellier, so unless they can pack it up, I'm out of luck:( .

I thought that I heard once that in chillier weather...a take-out stand in Canada sells it. Might be wrong about that...and I'm sure that it's a sesonal thing. Hope LeCellier will offer it for take out! Enjoy!

Funny to run into this topic because I've been wondering the same thing about the restaurants at the world showcase!

I'm planning to ask for an assortment of sushi from Japan to take back to the room with me and share with my group there! Wish me luck!!

When I was there in 2001, my friend and I got take-out from Tempura Kiku twice, and last year I was able to get the cheddar cheese soup from Le Cellier. They were always more than happy to help us. When I was making our resort reservations for this year I was told that most restaurants at Walt Disney World would accomodate take-out orders, with the exception of Victoria & Alberts and a couple others. We don't really like doing the sit down meals either, so we do the counter-service, take-out thing alot at Disney World. We actually carried the tempura back to the ASMu for dinner one night with no trouble! It was alot better than more pizza or chicken fingers... UGGG!!!

Enjoy!
