We've been experimenting with WDW "take-out" our last couple trips, each time while staying at the Boardwalk. My wife and I like eating out at WDW, but doing so every night is a bit unfair to the kids (5,4,1).
Flying Fish was reluctant to do take-out, permitting it only when not busy (perfectly reasonable) and warning us that the food doesn't travel so well in any case (I know many of their dishes are prepared to exacting specs and with intricate presentations, but this was a bit prissy of them, I thought). We've done take-out desserts from FF, though.
Spoodles, otoh, has handled several take-out orders from us. They do so cheerfully, and have even sold us wines by the glass to carry up to the room with our meals.
ESPN Club has been great about it, too, but their food isn't really worth the trouble most of the time.
We also did take-out once from Rose & Crown--they were great about it, too. Removing alcohol from Epcot is verboten, though, so we had to get creative in order to secure the Boddington's Ale/Guinness to accompany the fish 'n chips in our BW room.
