DD2 has not used a pushachair for 6 months now but I know she is going to get worn out with the long days at dlrp in June.

If you hire a pushchair can you take it out of the parks? So if we go into studios then want to go into disney village for lunch and then disneyland park later......can we just keep it with us?

If we take one I'm not sure if it will be extra hassle on eurostar trying to push a pushchair, keep track of 2 kids and get all the luggage on/off the train? And not sure we want it all of the time?

What would really be best would be a weeks hire from the hotel ...but obiously this doesn't exist!!:scratchin

We hired one for our 3 year old for 4 days as we already had a pushchair to worry about on the train for our other daughter. You can leave a deposit to take it out of the parc (€90) and you get paper saying you can take it out. It was checked every time we left the parks. We just kept it in out hotel room. HTH

We personally bought one and took it with us rather than hired one, the DLP ones look awful and not comfy at all!

DD doesn't use her buggy at all now, but the one we have is a Luna and I just couldn't face lugging it with us on a flight etc. as it is quite chunky! We were taking Rosebug to Dublin for the first time in November and were booked for DLP in Feb - so bought a £5 basic buggy from Morrisons (supposed to be £10 but it was the display model) and took that! DD loves it - it isn't cool or pretty or anything but it certainly did the job and I wasn't worried about it getting broken or stolen etc.

I think a buggy for a toddler, even one who doesn't use one anymore, is a must at DLP - it is such a long day and there will be lots of walking/standing!

We always take one. My youngest is 4 and doesn't use a pushchair anymore but we will still take one with us for her to sit in after walking around all day at disney. On our first trip we hired one of the disney ones - they are not the best ( don't recline for a start and are quite stiff) so wouldn't use them again.

In fact when we last went in 2010 even my 9 year old (who was 7 at the time) was wanting to get in the pushchair by the end of the day!

I asked about this a while back (DD2 will be 4 just before we go and hates walking at the best of times!!). Consensus was to take our own as the DLRP ones are hard etc.

So, we are taking our old stroller type which was so cheap - it doesn't recline much but will do the job for her. As we get free pushchair hire via our AP, we will be hiring a pushchair for our DD1, who has just turned 7, as and when we need it for her. She is an excellent walker and rarely whines about long distances but DLRP is something different. They are long days on your feet - even longer now with extended hours/Dreams!

I think sometimes if I could fit into a pushchair, I'd be in one by the end of the days at DLRP :rotfl2:.

My DS is 4 and we have taken our buggy every time, used more at Disney than at home!!!!

I always take our own, a maclaren, the hire ones look hard and the biggest thing they have no rain cover.

Have fun.

 Same here!

Oh...I forgot about rain cover! :thumbsup2 Yep that's a big plus..... the first year we went and did hire one of their pushchairs my daughter got soaked because there wasn't a cover on it!

We are not taking a buggy for our 4 year old this time, she hasn't used a buggy at home even on days out like legoland for 9 months or so. We have dream passes though so we do have the option of hiring one for free if we need to each day. If we would have to pay to hire one we would definately be taking one with us even if we didn't take it into the park all the time.
