Hard Rock Park is already being built in Myrtle Beach. You can go to www.hardrockpark.com and watch the webcam. It looks like it should be a fun park!

Its slated to be open next summer. The Led Zeppelin Coaster is being built as we speak.

Construction has been ongoing since last winter; on the site of the old Wacamaw Pottery site (intercoastal waterway, not on beach).

MB is our 2nd fav. vacation spot. Have been following the local MB news reports for some time, it will have a coaster, etc.; yet small in scope.

Should be a success in both regional market & the burgeoning tourist $$s; now that the Pavillion is doomed for condo expansion.

MB still has Family Kingdom; old-school wooden coaster - rest is ho-hum; more of a kiddie park...owned by Sea Mist Resorts, who does a family pkg tie-in to park & WP across the street.

My DSs are heading down beginning of August, asked them to try & check it out as to progress.

South Carolina. the boardwalk is a pretty nice place, we were up there earlier this year.

Wow I've never heard anything about it. I wish I could visit but I'm afraid I don't think that could be possible.

Different company. I think there is a different company that now owns the park, and the hotels, and the casinos, and the resturaunts.
