Just looking at your dates I would say you are seriously missing some holiday activities. Even if it is just setting some time to resort hop to see decorations. Take a look at the dates for Mickey's Very Merry and the Candlelight Processional. And try to get to the Osbourne Spectacle of Lights. Just a thought!

our budget dosnt allow for Mickey's Very Merry

but i will look into the others thanks :thumbsup2

I haven't been to Disney at this time of year, but maybe you could check out DTD on Saturday. I bet you it will be tricked out with decorations!

I think you may have difficulty your first day eating at Liberty Tree in the MK and making it over to Fantasmic in time to get a decent seat. The line for Fantasmic is long and forms very early. Other than that, the rest looks good.

There's a TON of fun things to do and see this time of year. If you have little ones (ands even if you don't) you should make time to see Christmas around the world at Epcot. In world showcase, a Santa from each country comes out and tells about that country's Christmas traditions.

The resort decorations should not be missed. How about a life size gingerbread house at the Grand Floridian? Christmas trees several stories high with ornaments bigger than your head? A Caroussel made entirely of edible materials? The list goes on...

Christmas is absolutely the *BEST* time to go to WDW! We'll miss it this year, but only because we're going to the International Food & Wine Festival and then off to the Bahamas on the Disney Wonder :bounce:

Can't wait,
Rich

Spectro, not Fantasmic. he should be real good on his times there. :)

Your plan looks great. Makes me sad that we are not going during the Holidays this year.

My only suggestion would be to do Fantasmic Friday on 12/8 after Sci Fi Dinner. You are having a rest day the next day anyway. We went to Fantasmic last year at this same time. We stood in line for at least an hour before they opened for seating. However we didn't really need to. People were still getting great seats up to the minute they started. It's at 7 pm that night. You could always walk in and see the crowd.

It looks like you have the Fantasmic Package on Monday (3:50 MM suggests this). If you see Fantasmic on Friday you can always cancel the Monday package. (you have 48 hours to cancel - please verify before doing though).

You would then have tons of time for the Osborne lights on Monday. You could catch them when they turn them on. How cool would that be!

what time do they turn them on?

thanks for your input all :thumbsup2

I Think they start at 6:00. I'm sure a Diser will know the answer. If not you can check the times guide when you arrive.
