CJ~he is the son of Sharon and Darron {my mom and dad's friends} he goes to Sylacauga I think.......not sure of his age or anything else...

Not yet....I haven't seen or talked to Josh or Chris since last Wednesday night{Chris} or last Thursday{Josh}.

Heather had to go shopping, which is ok with me....she wouldn't have gone swimming anyway!!! She hates swimming in the lake!!!

Cold Mountain is a pretty good movie!!! It depressed me.....some really disturbing scenes, but the story was pretty good. PLUS you get to stare at Jude Law!!!! What could be better?!?!?!?! :teeth:

Sorry I missed out on the party last night. We had some wild thunderstorms and even wilder kids buzzing about the house.

Barb you're right, it's kinda just barely humming along here. Isn't there anything fun to do around here. I'm a busy-type, can't sit around the beach all day. Let's do something fun. Are there any good malls close by? Where in the heck is that loud-mouthed [COLOR=FF0099]Tour Guide Barbie[/COLOR] when you need her?

I gave an update on the other thread. Off to work I go. Lots of company coming today and have to run for food etc. TTFN UGH I'm still missing boxes of kitchen stuff. How am I going to cook? I know "Welcome to McDonalds may I help you...."

Our team would never make such a mistake. Next long plane ride I think we need to be careful of how many of those tiny bottles of Merlot we drink. I got a little sick after the "zip" into the pool.

I haven't told anyone about the October trip. I know what their responses will be:

My mom - "But vat ess Robbie going to eat? Vat about da kids? Who vill vatch dem?" :rolleyes:

(Like Robbie can't cook his own dinner and "vatch" his own kids.)

My DMIL - She won't say anything negative to me, but she'll tell Rob and his three sisters about her fear of axe murders and snakes in Florida and plane crashes and abducted 39 year old moms. :rolleyes:

My friends - "Do you really KNOW these people? OMG, I can't believe you are doing that! Are you still going to go somewhere with us next year?" (Our 40th birthdays are next year. I've been talking about how we should be saving up to do a trip for four years. I've got 20 bucks that says the extent of our 40th birthday trip will be one night away somewhere--big whoop!) :rolleyes:

My sister - "Oh, you'll go to Florida with strangers, but you won't come visit your own sister in Atlanta." :rolleyes:

That's why I'm not telling anyone besides my mother until after I get back from the trip. :teeth:

Wow has it ever been dead around here!! I caught up on the couple pages I missed -- wow you guys don't talk much, huh?!

Well, my cousins left for Cape Cod where we'll be going early Friday morning, to my grandparent's house. We were originally going to go together, but then my brother had to work and couldn't get out of it, and then I was going to leave today with my cousins but I have my track meet thursday I really shouldn't miss(plus I get to spend the whole day with Matt....that's a definate plus!! :teeth:

), expecially since I missed last weeks with basketball camp! So, we'll see them bright and early Friday morning.

Also! Yay, I'm going to new york!!! And I get to see my cousins again in two weekends, so I'm happy. I also get to see them again in September, when I go to my brother's college for like family day, and since my cousin goes to the same college, they'll be there again. So this is definatly going to be the most I've seen them in a long time!!

Wow we had so much fun! We didn't go to bed before 2 any day!! I'm so tired, but I had a lot of fun so that's okay. Me and Emily had our annual monopoly game that lasts the whole vacation. She won...by $150!! We also played other games, watched chick flicks, went to the beach, played basketball, went on a scenic boat ride, shopped downtown, and ate lots of ice cream! I love when they're here!!! We also all got hooked on the show Outback Jack. I usually hate reality shows, but this one was SO funny!! We got so into it, and we hadn't ever seen it before! But ah the girls are SO stupid on there....wow.

Wow I already miss them and they left 20 or so minutes ago!!

Matt and I are going pretty well. The first few days were a little awkward like we didn't know how to act around each other, but now we're fine. I saw him for an hour or so Saturday but other than that I haven't really talked/seen him since then

Track was cancelled Monday so I didn't see him then, But I'm going to see him tonight at track, and all day tomorrow at the meet. I feel bad because I'm missing his birthday. We were going to go to the mall with Holly and Devers, but I'm not going to be here, and then the next week I have basketball camp, so I don't know when we'll get together outside of track. I told him to go to the mall with Holly and Devers, but he said he'd rather wait and go with me

Anyway, how was everyone while I was gone? Good I hope! Oh and welcome DEB T!!! :teeth:

My family would be quite upset, not because I have really said anything bad about them here, bet they don't "Ger it" and would have to be directed to it. Actually, WBK (a person DW despises) printed out selected parts of my engagement story and handed them to my dad. not a warm fuzzy moment.
