TAGLIARCHY Summer Escape!

Hey Lewski709  The rain has finally stopped here, now that it is dark!!

My SIL has just phoned to tell us she is going to Australia for 3 weeks at christmas with her new boyfriend to meet his parents (we haven't even met him yet!) I am so jealous, I would love to go to Australia ( we plan to in a few years after a few more trips to the USA) as I have relatives over there. I wish we could go away this year but can as we need to do some work on the house and need to save up for WDW next Christmas (flights alone are about $1500 per person! ) Oh well! I think I need a better paid job:rolleyes:

OK enough envy for now, sorry for moaning.

OMG that's awesome. I am very jealous too. There and Alaska...two places I would love to go. Maybe next year I can hit one.

I would love to go to Australia and on an African safari. Oh and see the great pyramids in Egypt too and a tropical island. My problem is that I would like to live way beyond my means!! We plan to go to WDW next Christmas and would like to go to Las Vegas again (if possible we would like to spend our 10th anniversary in the Bellagios hotel - in 4 years time.) Then I guess we could save up for Australia.
But then again, I might just have to dream!!

Oh Lewski709 my parents are going to Alaska next year on a cruise. Don't you just hate my family right now ;) ;)

OK it is late already here and I have a busy day tomorrow - work and then straight to the theatre until 9pm for another Les Mis rehearsal. Then the same on Tuesday so I might not be around for a while!!

Have fun everyone,

 , I was just on my way to the Island for the cookout, and thought I would say Hi...

Fireworks tonight at MK should be glorious... and if more people come back by....

:bounce:

Ohanafamily, you crack me up!

Heading "HOME" for the fireworks!

Well, I can see someone is trying to keep up with or show up the Jones's.

I am enjoying watching the mountain men and am all snuggled up in a blanket with a hot tati. Mmmmmmmm.

Hey guys!! Today was soo busy!! But a lot of fun! We just got back from the fireworks, and had a little mini birthday party for my aunt. I got some great pics of the fireworks, so I'll try to post them wednesday or thursday when my cousins leave!! :teeth:

I hope everyone had a great day, too! The only bad thing was I missed talking to Matt with my family here and all...he called but we were at the beach. Oh well, I probably sound really stupid, "Oh I'm 13 and I'm sad because I didn't talk to my boyfriend: :p ;) Well, my Aunt is opening her presents and then me and my cousin are going back to our monopoly marathon :teeth:

Talk to you guys when I get a chance!! :teeth:

I got a cleaning lady about 3 months ago and I can't tell you how GREAT it is. All I have to do now is laundry and dishes. No, we don't have a dishwasher.

I highly recommend the cleaning lady. Mine is $17/hr and comes every 2 weeks. Well worth every penny. It takes her between 5 and 7 hrs to clean it all.
Mine's charging $80 each visit which will be 3-4 hours (and $120 for the initial to get it up to speed....5-7 hour estimate). She almost flipped when she saw the house....I live a cluttered life :) But when I told her she didn't have to dust the knick-knack shelves or china collection, she was alright! Plus, our 3rd floor (guest room and bath) will only get done when we're expecting company :) And my craft room is off limits....just no helping that one!! Now it doesn't sound like such a deal, but she was less than one other estimate and the same as another....and she got better recommendations :) Can't wait to see it sparkle tomorrow!

Just hoping the rain hold off. We were planning on taking the kids to the Botanical Garden to get them out from under foot :) DH has the day off :)

Gee, seems like cleaning ladies are getting paid a better wage than secretaries with computer skills. Part time secretarial jobs here pay $12-15/hour and you have to know Word and Power Point!

Bye guys. Moving in day-officially. Will be off line for a few days until ds can hook me back up. Be good, don't talk to strangers and I'll see ya soon!
