Well, I found TINKBACKWARDS and DHB!!!

And I quote:

"VERSAILLES, Ky. - Some central Kentucky residents got a taste of Hollywood when director Cameron Crowe filmed scenes in Versailles for his latest movie, "Elizabethtown."

But Crowe didn't attract as much attention as Orlando Bloom, the movie's male lead.

Girls lined up on Main Street Thursday to shout, "We love you, Orlando!" to the 27-year-old actor, who was behind the wheel of a gray Mercury sedan that went up and down the street for multiple takes. Of particular interest were two women in their thirties seen wearing Disney shirts, carrying baseball bats, picnic baskets, and dragging small children dressed like Minnie Mouse behind them. Good Morning America is trying to determine their identities so they can be interviewed on tomorrow's show with Orlando."

LOL!! Seriously, They are filming in Versailles (pronounce Ver-sales her in Kentucky :rolleyes:

) which is about 20 minutes from here. I'd love to meet Cameron Crowe as Almost Famous is one of my top 5 favorite movies EVER!! Also, Say Anything is up there, top 20. One of the actors (who also is a musician) from the movie is going to be at a local bar tomorrow night.

Hey everyone, Things have been busy over these past few days which is why I haven't been around. I notice a lot of others haven't been around either. Where are the other adults?
It is going to be another busy day here so hope everyone has a great weekend. I'll be back tomorrow (I posted a longer post on the island to tell everyone what I have been doing.)

It's been raining ALL WEEK here, and it's supposed to rain on and off all weekend too. That okay, just as long as it's hot and sunny for vacation next week. :Pinkbounc

DHB I been to Vursales on the way to my aunt's house in Columbia, KY several times. And you can't fool me ... I heard from a very reliable source that you stalked Cameron and camped outside his hotel room last night AND you paid the bartender in that local bar to call you if he shows up tonight!

Barb - every been to that garage sale that stretches along the whole eastern seaboard ... or maybe a bit inland? I think it's like on an interstate that cuts through Knoxville, TN or maybe Kingsport, TN. Maybe we should have a Sales <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/15/15_3_2v.gif' alt='Queen' border=0></a> Called Tag Meet along there somewhere???

TB If you can't find anything to do, come see me. It's pouring rain, which is badly needed. Of course it rained all night, I ran the hose for 6 hours yesterday on two of my front yard trees that were droopy. No mowing the yard for me today!
