Eric was out sick from school today (yeah right. He really had a bad belly ache. He just asked me if he could go out and play. I DON'T THINK SOOOOOO!!!), so I showed him the peep website. He loved it. Especially the smoking results. BUT, you want to here pathetic? I've been debating produce over on the DB. And my blood pressure actually went up when someone said that husking the corn in the grocery store DOES NOT damage it! It does! It dries it out. You should always leave it in the husk until you are ready to cook it! Okay, I'll shut up about that.

Geffric, I did ask HB if he wanted to go in October. I'm going to tell DH tonight that a gay guy is going to room with me and Lewski and see what he says. Geez, it could be just like Three's Company. Bwhaaaaaaaaa!!!!

The joy over UConn winning has overridden the depths of despair of losing to Lewski. I'll feel even better if she shares her Wonka Bars.

Would it be great if we did a pen pal thing with Danauk's class (sorry no color, I'm afraid I'll lose this long post). I'm sure Eric and Hunter would love to write to on of the kids in the class. Would anyone else be into this? Or do we have too much under our belts already?

Well one of my school friends has just phoned, we were best friends through high school and I was her maid of honour when she married (sadly she is divorced now). We phone oneanother every now and then to catch up and boy can she talk!! 2 hours on the phone nearly! The trouble is she does most of the talking and I can't get a word in edgeways!! Never mind it was good to catch up.

If any of your kids do want to send letters to my kids I'm sure they would love that. I could get them to post chocolate that we have and you don't. After all [COLOR=FF0033]cadburysmom[/COLOR]'s son thinks I am the chocolate fairy!!

So does anyone have any plans for this evening? I had my soak in the bath but didn't manage to get any clothes sorting done due to my 2 hours on the phone!! Never mind, I'll get that done tomorrow. My things are hung up ready in my study, I just have to get DH up to get his things sorted. Like I said earlier, easier said than done

We were in Ranchos 6b, which was a very good location. The quiet pool was just around the corner and the big pool (the Dig Site) was around the corner from it. It was only in the upper 70's during the day and 50's at night, but they went everyday anyway. They loved the slide, the hot tub is huge and we really liked the entire resort. If you have any specific questions, send me a PM, I'll do my best. I can send you a copy of my resort map if you don't already have one.

So I asked DH, "What you would you say if I told you that a gay man was rooming with me and Lewski in October?" He kind of just shrugged and said "To be honest, I wouldn't care." He's totally fine with me going.

He may not hear half the things I say or ask him, and he may wait until the morning of my birthday to ask me what I want for my birthday, and he may leave splats of toothpaste all over the bathroom mirror, but he's an okay dude in my book.

Don't think Sam will have trouble getting into either one. We will visit a few more colleges this spring.

I don't tell my friends or my extended family about this site. If my SIL's ever came on here and read what I say about them, I'd be in deep doo-doo.

Which is getting me thinking. What are they going to say when I tell them that I'm going on a weekend trip with a chick I met on the internet? I bet my SILs will think that I've decided to leave Rob and take up women.

Well, I tell them I visit some planning forums, which is how I originally came to the DIS. They'd probably think I was weird if they knew I bothered to chat about stuff beyond trip planning. And some of them are occasionally talked about, so I wouldn't want it read Usually good stuff, but you never know when you'll need to vent and I'd hate to worry it would get back.

DH knows and gets a laugh out of some of the stuff I read him I really should turn him loose on the dark side (debate board), but he would get upset with all the personal attacks.... you see, he was a champion debater! I don't bother argueing with him because of that and his memory than never forgets a single word uttered or phrase read.... I just tell him how it is....no arguement He's also a little close to the joke on some of the political threads that have to do with military issues.... he usually knows more than the general public (and some officials) but he can't put his 2 cents in there....

actually something really surprised me today ...i go to a catholic high school (dont ask) and onthe afternoon announcements they wished a happy passover to all the jewish students in the school! i was kinda surprised because i didnt know there were that many who went there...or mabye its only a few people i dont really know!

I think its because Barb has a couple of Bichon Frise dogs. A lot of people think that about poor ole BB!!! Shes too sweet to be Bishon or maybe, as we used to say in our youth ,BB is Bichon. Ok I give up, just ask her!!! can you tell I've had a LONG day at college orientations????
