FYI 13 year old boys are big... and their voices are starting to change and they are getting facial hair.. so far they have eaten 2 deep dish pizzas and drank 1 liter of root beer and they have only been here for an hour..

Anyway, I'm having a good evening. Celebrating DH's birth today, so we got some yummy good food. I'm so happy DH was born.

I've got my overnight bag packed for tomorrow and my map of London so we can see where to go! I have to go to the dentist tomorrow at 9am and DH has an appointment at 10am. Whilst he is in with the dentist I will walk up to the post office to post my swap package. Then it's home for a bite to eat and off to the train station for the 1pm train which will get us to London by 2pm.

I just heard some adults (who shall remain nameless) "Discussing" whether or not we would be doing this again; Mrs. Nameless suggested that it will be a while. While we can afford this luxury, some of our members may not be able to do these things again too soon. Just stopping by before I hit the hay. I'm wiped out for some reason and I didn't even start the packing yet. ohanafamily, the kids and I are heading down to San Antonio tomorrow afternoon. We're going to my sister's for Passover. My sister and I spend 3 days cooking for the 2 Sedars (dinner/service). Lots of yummy food

, but no bread or rice or corn or... I'm staying down there for a week but unfortunately ohanafamily has to come back home for work.

Danauk, have a great time in London. What show(s) are you going to see?

How's the "over" going geffric? Will you at least be getting some sleep tonight?

Good morning everyone, I've just got back from the dentist so my teeth have been buffed and polished. Whilst I was in town I went to the post office and posted my swap package (no hastles this time!!) so it should be with you in just over a week I guess.
The train leaves for London in 3 hours and the train station is about 20 minutes away so it won't take us long to get there. We are going to see a play called The greatest swing in baseball which is a comedy staring Gillian Anderson (Skully from the x-files) and sounds quite funny. We usually go to see musicals but I thought a play would be nice to see instead.
The weather here is not too good as it is April so the April showers have started. At the moment it is only that fine hazy rain but showers have been predicted for the whole country all weekend (Great!!)

RRBB and ohanafamily have a safe trip too and have a good time with your family.

I guess I should go and find my waterproof now to put in the overnight bag, I know where my yellow Mickey rain poncho is but I don't think that would be suitable for a 4 star London hotel!!

I'll let you know what I got up to in London when we get back.

Am I the only fool who is up this early? (Danauk doesn't count as a "fool" because she is five hours ahead. ) Why did I wake up at 6:15 on a Saturday? I'm going to have to sneak a nap in later, because DH's crazy friend and his wife are coming over at 7:00 this evening for cards and pizza and (I'm sure) the appropriate beverages. The last time they were here, I played poker for the first time and, put it this way, I earned the kids milk money for a month! LOL. I'm surprised they are coming back for more.

BTW, they ended up eating at Ohana's last night instead of LTT. Then they went to MK for the evening. After they left MK, they went back to the Poly to watch the fireworks from the beach. OK, now I am really jealous. Anyway, so I talk to my brother last night & he says "I think we should definitely stay at the Poly in October". I say "Sure, if you are paying". .

I've been up for a while, talking with ohanafamily about what he wants me to pack for him. Have I ever mentioned that he's not allowed to pack his own suitcase? Last time he did he told me his suitcase was full, no room for anything else - on a day and a half trip. (I was already there and wanted him to bring some of my stuff home since I'd be staying longer too.) When I repacked his stuff his suitcase ended up being 3/4 EMPTY! So now he just pulls out the clothes he wants to take and I pack it for him.

Speaking of packing, I guess I'd better finish the laundry so I can start filling suitcases.

hmmmm. let's see....yeah, Jury Duty: Called 5 times, one was for a grand jury and my boss got insisted I get out of that!....they can go on forever! One time was not needed, one time selected in the first batch and the and excused by defense attourney. It was a DUI and as a MADD supporter, they passed on me. Another time also dismissed by the defense attrouney when I said I had served before and found the defendant guiley....guess he didn't like the idea (I look like such a sweet, sympathetic lady..must have surprised him.) And then they time just mentioned, robbery...guilty.

Someone also mentioned MGM first thing in the morning....that's one of my favorite memories of my FIRST WDW trip. PixieMagic was off to do TOT and RnR, both rides I would never contemplate (at the time!) I went to the little pasty/snack place, got a croissant and tea, sat on the patio and enjoyed the fresh morning air. I love the parks first thing in the morning....minutes after the commandos have moved on to their favorite rides, there's that moment or two of peace!

Deadheadbelle, when I was sneaking in a peek yesterday from work, I wanted to post that I though [COLOR=FF66CC]llebrekniT[/COLOR] was going to eat at Ohana's. I'll be eating there on 4/20... AND we got a PS so that we'll be there during WISHES. The w/o 4/19 the hours cut back (guess 'cause all spring breaks and Easter being over) so fireworks aren't so late. Regarding the gentleman friend issue, I hesitate to post much as it's conceivable he could show up on the DIS (though I haven't mentioned it to him) and I don't want to 'jinx' it.....not superstitous MUCH! But if you REALLY want a girl to girl, dish the dirt chat, I'll PM you the story. I will just say that's it's nice to have some male attention....even if it's just a friendship.....it's been quite a while!

HEY .....guess who showed up in my dream last night? Yes, another celebrity sighting....this time it was the one, the only....






ohanafamily.....or it was Wayne Knight portraying ohanafamily? Don't worry RRBB, not THAT kind of dream. He was helping me hang pictures and fix up some stuff around the house !?! See, he's even a great guy in dreamland.

OK, got to go pull weeds now. Think it's going to be extra quiet on the Island this weekend.....but I'll keep popping in and out if anyone wants to gab!
