Hey
ohanafamily I play the trumpet too, that was my first study instrument for my graduate degree in music. I play clarinet and flute as well and I kind of play the piano but badly!! I play recorder and some early musical instruments too. I was a band geek!! I played trumpet at county level too and did some tours abroad with the orchestra that I played in.
Depplyinluv I have been to France quite a few times either on school trips (twice to Paris, once skiing on Mont Blanc and once for 2 weeks exchange visit to a french school) and also a few times with girl guides (scouts) to the south of France. DH and I had our honeymoon in Paris too. I guess with the tunnel now, plus the fact the English Chanel is only 22 miles wide so it seems now that going to France isn't really like going abroad. When the new train terminal opens in London for the eurostar we should be able to catch the train from our town and be in Paris about 3 hours later!!
To answer another QOTD the last DVD I bought was Brother Bear, it arrived from the USA this morning, it isn't released here until May!!
So what has everyone been up to today? At school today we made bird boxes and decorated them. They were kind of cute, but helping 29 kids do woodwork was fun even if the pieces were pre cut and just slotted together!!
Does anyone have good plans for this evening? I'm just going to watch TV I think as Thursday is the best TV night (New Friends followed by new ER) DH has speech evening tonight at his school so won't be home until late. As he is head of the music department he has to get the kids to provide the music for the evening.
I guess I better go and cook dinner for myself then.
