Odd-nut-screwball... How about Dream Street? Have you heard of them before they disbanded? What about Backstreet Boys... they are the first ones that have made my heart throb since Bruce Springsteen did that cute wigglin' butt dance on Dancin' in the Dark before you were born. My DH just bought a Martin guitar at a charity auction in Nashville two weeks ago autographed by your boy, Tim McGraw!!! I agree he's a hottie. And since we have all of those LOTR DVD's, I guess I'll have to watch and see who is which person. I know one guy with long hair I've seen on the commercials is my kinda man!

Paul McCartney, Davy Jones, Paul Revere, Ilya Nastasi (sp? Man from U.N.C.L.E.), Sajid Khan, and ... Bobby Sherman!

Never knew anything about Dream Street. Didn't really care for them...they came out just when I was getting out of the "I love boy bands" stage, LoL!!

OMG, my friends and I used to WORSHIP BSB!!! LoL!!! They were the greatest things ever!!!! Those days are long gone though, lol!! A while before "Black and Blue" came out, we all kinda left them, LoL!!

Oohh, really!!! Tim is VERY HOT, especially to us country people down here in Alabama, LoL!!!:teeth:

Paul Revere?? Didn't he shout, "THE BRITISH ARE COMING, THE BRITISH ARE COMING!!!", LOL!?!?! You must be older than I thought, LoL!! Just Kidding!!!:teeth: :teeth: :teeth: :teeth: :teeth:

Who remembers 8-track tapes? When I was in 8th grade I shared the 8-Track soundtrack to Saturday Night Fever with my best friend at the time. Oh those Bee-Gees. Looking back now, what was I thinking???

Then there was Leif Garrett. For some reason I got sucked into liking him. I think it was because a good friend of mine had her room plastered with his picture, I mean posters everywhere covering every inch of wall space.

oddball27, I sent you a PM!!!

QOTD...I hate to admit this, but I had a huge crush on Olivia Newton John. OK, it lasted until I waited up really late to watch her on Carson, and she admitted that, well, she was sometimes one of Joe's (and Rick's) people. I don't even want to think back as to how devastated I was.....

llebrekniT, I have the best solution to your Nancy-Pants kind of problem... I went to WDW instead of going to a graduation (remember that whole thread?) Well, I had a wedding to go to that we were a part of (but not in), and we planned it 8 months out, and we found out about the graduation 2 months out. Long story short...they will never come to any of our events EVER (I would say again, but like Nancy Pants, they never came to anything.)

:rotfl: haha! i have to admit, Springsteen's booty shakin' makes other people's heart throb!! lol! i'm not talking about myself (though i am a HUGE springsteen fan.) it always makes me feel young when i go to one of his concerts. i always feell like the youngest there (unless my 9 year old borther goes.) but i have to admit, he wasn't bad looking during his Born in the USA days...

i never really was a HUGE BSB fan. i always prefered NSYNC, especially justin timberlake before his solo days.

alright, my list:
johnny depp, orlando bloom, sean penn (no laughing!!! and if you do, laugh inwardly. he's one of those people who are only hot sometimes. other times it's like AHH WHAT R U THINKING?), billy boyd, ben mackenzie, michael vartan, derek jeter, francisco garcia (UL basketball player), chuck hayes (UK basketball player), shane west, adam brody, paul walker, viggo mortenson (as aragorn)...there are so many more!!!!

oddball, i used to LOVE joey lawrence!! and i always thought matt was hot. but not anymore.

anyway, barbara bush is calling me

That was you ?!?!? I remember that one. I voted "go to WDW".

And I sure do remember 8 track tapes. I had a sterio with an 8 track tape player. I had a Paul McCartney and Wings album. Except I don't think it was PM&W. I think it was one of those deals where they get studio singers to redo all the songs. I bet my mother bought it for me because she got a great deal on it. ;)

Bichon Barb, what time do the ORANGEMEN play? I'm not sure if we'll get that game here or not.

Nope, I'm not cooking tonight. ohanafamily is taking me out - somewhere - for dinner. He doesn't like it when I cook (ie. mess up) the kitchen the day the maid comes. I think he's also tired of eating at home. (It's so hard to break him of his bachelor habits!)

Yup, we don't have to worry about the Ice Queen, her husband (ohanafamily's brother) or their spawn showing up to anything we ever have in the future. At least that was the threat. No skin off my nose, in fact I'd prefer it. It's been painful at family gatherings in the last year. I certainly don't go out of my way to say anything nice to them anymore - I used to try to be the nice one. Did ohanafamily ever tell y'all about the family dinner we went to about a week after the graduation vs. wedding war started? It was like there was a wall of ice running down the middle of the table. They were on one side, we were directly across from them. They just stared blankly at us whenever we tried to join in the conversation or talk to them. Nope, I don't care for them and could care less what they think of me. Now hopefully they'll stick by their threat.

CourtasanSatine, hugh jackman is hot. especially as wolverine and in the upcoming movie van helsing. i also loved him in someone like you and kate and leopold. i'm a sucker for romantic comedies. you've got mail, while you were sleeping, and sleepless in seattle are some of the best movies ever.

oddball--you didn't scare me off! i probably scare people more than you!

Oh, Grat, I got RRBB started again... Oh well, I guess it is my own darn fault.

BTW, The wedding was worth it!!!!!
It was at the Y&B like Kismetdreams, but daddy didn't put a cap on his only daughter's wedding. I think he could have bought a haouse for what it cost him....but that is another past trip report...that I have yet to write about.....
