QOTD: Before we got the van, I had the regular Mickey, Fantasia Mickey and Princess Minnie. Now I don't have any because our stupid van doesn't have an antenna. It's built into the windshield or something I think. All I know is the radio works. We use them when we get a rental at WDW to help us find our rental in the lots.

Can I add a QOTD? Since we have so many newbies buzzing about, let's do a refresher course.

What do you do for a living/how do you find time to be on the DIS?

Morning all!

When I got home last night, Joe was already puttering about the kitchen. Was he cooking as promised? I think not! Nope! Who cooked? Me! Hmmph!

But that's ok. We had a ton of little things here and there in the fridge that either needed to be eaten or thrown away so I whipped a dish up. How does tequila lime chicken on a bed of mexican rice sound? Came out delish!

Alas, no ziti, lasagna, spaghetti and meatballs of eggplant parm for me...

By the way, Joe told me he thought everyone was so nice on the Tag. He kept saying how nice your welcome was!

He plans on sticking around.

Oh, and I forgot to mention re: the question about Shakespeare. I'm afraid I can't contribute. I happen to be one of the dumbest guys in the universe when it comes to Mr. Bill. In fact, and Joe can vouch for this, we've gone to see Shakespeare In The Park at Central Park, I sit there a bit slack jawed. I keep leaning over to Joe and whispering, "What's happening? I don't get it." or "Is he a good guy or a bad guy?" or "I don't understand." or "Is it over?"

I feel like the stupid kid in English class.

Yep, you have 10 right so far. The most points you can get is 112. The most you can have right is 56. Each round is weighted. round 1=1 point, round 2=2 points, 3=3, 4=4, 5=5. championship gamie=6 points.

Right now, even though Barb & I have 12 correct, the most points I can possible score is 114; whereas, she can score 116. Reason: One of the teams I picked to win yesterday, Air Force, lost & I had them winning in the next round as well.. Stupid Tar Heels. No offense Cadburysmom. Make sense??

yawn zzzzzzzzzzz yawn, I hate mornings, y'all! DH was in Mich last night so I stayed up on the 'puter until 1:30 a.m. and then couldn't fall asleep. Then I had to get up and take DD15 to school at 7:00. Wish I liked coffee... I'd get an IV hooked up.

Thanks for the yummy breakfast, geffric. I am really brain-fuzzy this a.m.... do you always make breakfast, or is it a team or is it whoever hits the kitchen first? I would be happy to help while you're gone ... I'm the birthday fairy next week for the Boards, so I could be the Breakfast Babe here, too, if needed. Not trying to take away anyone else's job, though... y'all just let me know if I am needed. Oh, and geffric, are you sure you don't need a walking French translator (moi) with you on your cruise???

hmmm... Lewski709 - QOTD 1 ... I don't have a topper. Just the remains of the red, white, and blue ribbons I tied on at 10:00 a.m. on 9/11/01, and a frayed MADD ribbon. Rest assured, I will be topper shoppin' when we get to WDW in July. Where's the best selection? I will need several. I don't suppose there's a TAGLIARCHY topper?

[color=FF66CC]llebrekniT[/color] - QOTD 2: I am a SAHM mom for the first time in my long and ancient life. (I never did hear if anyone on the island is older than my 48 (or am I 47? I forget!). When we were transferred from Nashville to Columbus, I said I'd stay home and keep our house orderly and clean. Well, I did the first part! However, I do orderly and I don't do housecleaning (very well). So I got a tiny part time job as a bookkeeper and work enough to pay someone to come clean the house twice a month. That's how I have plenty of time to be on the DIS, to relax and condition my skin in the chocolate hot tub, and to plan WDW vacations for my friends and family!


RickinNYC, I like Joe. I'm glad he's joined us. Joe, I like you. I'm glad you're here! Oh, and Rick, I like you too! (gotta keep things even you know!)

DTD has the best selection. In fact, it was hard to resist all the seasonal toppers. But I have a ghost (non DIS) for Halloween and The Grinch for Christmas, then my Fantasia Mickey for all other times.

My job, DIS all day and second an Inside Sales Manager for a Steel supplier. Why oh why can't I get a job in FL? I mentioned putting the house up and just moving last night and DH didn't jump as high as I wanted. So back to the grind, find then sell and move. A rgggggggggggggggggg!

Well my job is as a part time administrative assistant and since I don't have a computer at home I dis while I'm at the office. I've been dissing now for maybe 3 years. I think I was pregnant with DD when I discovered it.
