Well, once again, it just doesn't pay to miss a day here.
Just got all caught up and it took me an hour with all the interuptions I had. Now I can't even remember who or what I wanted to respond to. Never mind.
I was on the phone with DHB when the neighbor knocked. I heard him say something just got hit and then she said she had to go. I was thinking it was her car because she always moves it out to the street so her DH doesn't block her in when he gets home. Now I really wish it was the car. Needs a new one anyway. She is so sad. I know she appreciates everybody's hugs. Keep 'em coming.
Jazz is over, cheerleading is over, baseball doesn't really get going until after Spring Break. What will I do with myself?
Tonight I don't have to cook dinner because we are going to Pizza Hut to celebrate with the cheerleaders! Yippee! Not so much about the pizza but about not having to cook! Yippee!
I got soooo much done today for the swap. Still haven't found a postcard though. Could I cheat and get some at WDW? It is my home away from home. I won't be able to ship my stuff out until we get back anyway......
I think it was iluvtink who asked about sending cards to my aunt. I think that is a wonderful, lovely idea, but she is on the mend now, the accident was right before Christmas.
About the dogs feet. BichonBarb, is your theory that all dog's feet smell like Fritos? Girl, you may need serious help. BUT, I will put this to the test when the Puggies come in from the afternoon sunning. Ella does like playing with Little Bob's feet an awful lot....

Ella has been to the doctor 2 times in the last week. She has been sick since last Mon., the doctors can't find anything wrong and keep saying it's just a virus. If she doesn't start eating and drinking better tonight, I'm taking her back tomorrow and having them run every kind of test they got. Her temp. went away a few days ago, but she is so tired and she just barely eats anything at all. She's having enough wet diapers so I know she isn't dehydrated, still I'm worried about her. It's been a stressful week.
Ok, I've rambled on plenty long enough. Time to do some laundry. Have a nice evening everyone.

Well its evening here now and all the things I planned to do didn't get done (excpet the washing up and phoning for the job application.) So at the moment I'm sitting watching the TV (after a soak in the bath) with a glass of wine in one hand and a Cadburys dairy milk and short bread biscuit bar in the other!! So what is everyone else doing this evening?

Hopefully I'll be feeding my oldest all the liquids he wants. Stuff like jello, popsicles, flat 7-up or ginger ale, stuff like that. This has to go on for 4 hours. Sighhhhh...... at least I can watch the Travel Channel with their many hours of WDW programming to keep me entertained.

Deadheadbelle OMG I'm sooo sorry about Lou and am sending you lots of hugs and pixie dust....
....I know nothing can bring him back but at least the driver cared enough to stop to let you know what happened. I'm personally not a cat person but adopted a cat only because I felt sorry for him. I loved him dearly for 13 yrs and when he died I cried for weeks. I like to think Lou is with him up there in Cat Heaven looking down on us now. I know it sounds corny but I truly believe our pets love us back and somehow watch over us once they pass away.
You'll definitely be in my thoughts and prayers.

Popping in to say hi. We took Jessie for an all day vet visit--they drugged her for tests and dental exam. She weighs 60.5 lbs.--almost 9 lbs. gained 
. She needs her teeth brushed more often too. She is still groggy from whatever they gave her--she was happy to see me. NC Beast was the "bad guy" who took her in this morning--this time she was more forgiving. No more boosters until Sept.

Oh--the exchange--sorry, we can't do it this time--extra bills this month and next month. Hopefully I will have my own job by then.

OK. Everybody cross your fingers. I just gave Josh some jello. If this stays down he gets a popsicle. This'll be ongoing for 4hrs. I'm praying so hard that I'll be able to give him some yogurt before midnight. Then comes 24hrs of the BRAT diet. Sheesh, is it just me, or does it seem to you all that the flu bugs of this year have been especially nasty?
NC Belle (sorry no color I can't access the color wheel) I'm glad it's all over. Poor Jessie. I used to help my aunt take Lindy (a collie) to the vets. She was huge almost the size of a small pony. She would shake and shiver and whine. I hate taking Lil and Mid to the vet too. And to top it all off those nasty Drs had to give her shots.
Don't mind me if I've begin rambling (maybe I'm already there). Must get some solid sleep tonight if at all possible. Where's the liquor cabinet for later....points be GD!

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

I'm crossing my fingers (and toes) that the jello stays down and you have a peaceful night tonight!
And the VETERINARIAN'S OFFICE is a scary place! My 85 lb choc lab shakes so much her teeth chatter! She's a breast cancer survivor (yes, dogs get it too, had to have her teats(sp?) removed) and had a major operation last year to have a rectal tumor removed! ouch
She is my wonder dog and is in as good health as an almost 12 yr old dog can be 
......now if only she could live forever.......

Our cat Mid's name was originally Josephine until he rolled over one day and showed us he was a Joseph. Since we already had a son named Joseph we had to come up with something else...
