Hi there! It's been a while, but I decided to say hello.
It's HOT in NYC today. Not really a high temperature, but it's humid. I just walked over to physical therapy and I was all sweaty. It's not even that far away.
The PT wasn't bad at all. This was my first session for my back (I just finished up the therapy for my bum shoulder). First they put this massager on my lower back like those chairs you see in Sharper Image and Brookstone. It just rubs and vibrates against my back while I lay there on the table in the dark for like 15 to 20 minutes. When the Physical therapist came back in, I realized I had just been dreaming! I fell into a light sleep in there! Not bad for PT, huh!
Then he made me do these stretches. Not bad either, though they'd be easier if there wasn't a bit of a belly in the way. I've got to lay on my back and bring my knee to my chest. YEAH RIGHT. Knee? Chest? HAHAHAHA. But I did bring it as close as it would go, and that was fine. He said it'll get closer and closer session after session. I said, not when I have stromboli in the refrigerator at home it won't!
As you all know, Rick started his new job on Monday. So far so good! But send PD for the so-far-so-good-future.
We're not far from our departure date to Disney now it seems. It felt like so long away, and now, geesh, it's the third week of JULY for Pete's Sake. I know once August hits, September is just around the corner. And, I'll have to remember when I'm there that being at Disney is not a conducive to the KNEE TOUCHING THE CHEST!
