Breakfast is being catered today by Crystal palace with the MK barbershop quartets (those guys who do it on Main Street). I will pop in later after my morning errands which includes getting my baby Jessie back. It so quiet here without her...10 hours until we are reunited.

RRBB thanks for the well wishes on Sam. Gov School is a competitive program for the arts and humanities that accepts only a few kids from each program ie: theater (which Sam got in) music, voice art etc. It is completely paid for by the state. It is a really cool envirorment. They spend the month on a college campus which is open for them to use. They have programs, classes, fun time etc. Every kid we had spoken to that had attended said it was the best time of their lives. I miss my baby whaaaa I'm going to be a case when she goes to school.

I think I slept a grand total of twenty minutes last night....and god am I tired. And oh, a week of basketball camp, what could be better when you're sick and don't even feel like moving? I'm not a happy camper.

Sounds like a little too easy of an answer, but I just really feel at home there. Everytime we get off the plane I feel like I'm home again. Same thing when we land back in KY. I think my ideal scenario would be Nov. through March in Florida, the rest of the year back here.

I'm american...but I really want to live in Germany. Not for a long time, but I'm definatly going abroad there while I'm in college. Ah well, other than that I'm set on living in Maine for the rest of my life. Ah I love this state!!


Okay, really I need to go...my sister is yelling, "You're going to be late if you don't get off" at me....so perhaps I should go. Wish me luck, and I don't collapse out of exhaustion on the court

RRBB-On the job front I have to wait I think until next week, the woman is on vacation. DH wants to go back to school so we have to figure out what to do with DD since she is not in school full time yet. It's almost like my life is going in a different direction I just don't know what it is yet.

Do I want to live in Florida?! Yes I do but we have so much access to great therapists for DS that I don't think I could go trough building another team for him.

Living in FLA, Dh and I are planning on moving when the kids are grown and we retire.. I want to work at WDW in one of the air conditioned shops.. DH is going to find and put all the LEGOS pieces / sets back together for grandkids..

QOTD: Don't really know. I've lived in TX and AZ. I spent a semester of college in London where I lived in a family's house. I've "lived in hotels" for several months in Jacksonville, FL; San Francisco, CA; Cuba, NY; Paoli, PA; plus a lot of other places for shorter time when I was consulting. I even had an apartment in Tacoma, WA for a year and a half that I lived in during the week but was back in TX every weekend. So in a way I've gotten to live all over the US, but "Big D" will always be home to me.

Totally understandable. I know when my sister and BIL decided to move a few years ago one of the big requirements was making sure there was a good deaf-ed program for DN. If you can't get the right kind of care/support for your children then it's not worth it. And once you find a good group of people to work with why would you want to start over again, unless you absolutely have to.
