Geffric, I'm feeling fine. I went to get my follow up yesterday, but departments at hospitals don't speak to one another, I suppose, so the place where they sent me had 1. No idea who I was, 2. No Idea what I was supposed to get done 3. No idea who the doctor was that sent me over there. So they are going to make an appointment for me and call me back with the date and time. But I feel absolutely fine now.

The sun is back out and I may get the chance to go to Home Depot yet. W/o a car, it's not as easy, but I love Home Depot. I can get lost in there!!

Guess what...I made Chocolate Chip pancakes for breakfast this morning!!!

I'm sorry about my poor avacado tree. I know, living up here, I'd never have gotten fruit, but it was just so nice, until it died. Big huge leaves and nice and tall! Rats...I've got such a black thumb. That plant was my crowing achievement (or my swan song, I guess...LOL!)

Glad you feel fine, Joe :teeth:

Just stopped in thinkiing there would be something to read, but alas we all must have lives!!

Well, have a great afternoon everyone! I'm off to the mall with Holly!! :wave2: :D

Those are the same passes we have. ::yes:: Have you tired to get in on one? I hear they really don't care and will let anyone in on them.

So, can't do this weekend. Thinking about next Sunday. I know, I know....it's the 4th of July and all. But, they will have <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/8/8_14_5.gif' border=0></a> and we really did have any plans. The 4th is historically a low attendance day there.

It would be great to meet up. Oh and about getting up and driving, it's about 1.5hrs from my parents and we would have to drop the dog off. So, we'd probably spend the night there and not have to leave to terribly early. Like 8ish. :)

Argggggggghhhhhhhh.....<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/4/4_13_3.gif' border=0></a> you'll be some place far nicer than Six Flags on July 4th.....WON'T YOU Fancy Pants?????

If you can't do the 4th, we can plan for another time. ::yes::

Hi everybody!!

I didn't post at all yesterday because:
1) I had to volunteer at the hospital, didn't get home till 1:30
2) Had to vacuum the house
3) Read all the pages I missed

So I tried to type a post, and when I submitted it, the computer wouldn't let me!! ::badpc::

I had to get off the computer because my friend had to call me to let me know when she was coming over. She came and then she spent the night. She left a little while ago so here I am!! :wave2:

Hey everybody!

Been outside doing lots of yardwork this morning because it mild, sunny and breezy here today. <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/16/16_6_1v.gif' border=0></a>Perfect weather, upper 70's, my favorite temperature.::yes::

Geffric thanks and yes, Daniel had several really good plays at first base. At bat: first time he was up he popped a foul ball up and the stupid catcher caught it<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/18/18_7_10.gif' border=0></a> (I know he's only a kid and it is his job afterall); second time was a really hard grounder, good hit but the stupid kid playing that position swooped down on it and threw him out<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/18/18_7_13.gif' border=0></a>; but the third time he hit he got on base and eventually came home to score, but that was due to the bases being fully loaded and a kid got walked, so he had to just kind of walk to home plate, which he didn't like very much. Not too exciting to score by just walking to home plate.<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/18/18_7_14.gif' border=0></a>

Anyway, they are guaranteed a trophy<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/12/12_1_28.gif' border=0></a> for at least 2nd in the tournament so it will be a good night regardless. We are having a pizza<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/12/12_12_15.gif' border=0></a> and cookie<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/12/12_4_22.gif' border=0></a> party after the game, so anybody who's coming - bring your appetite!

Guess I'll go back outside and enjoy some more of this beautiful day.<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/7/7_2_201v.gif' border=0></a>

See ya!

Last night, I took the family to the <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/3/3_11_3.gif' border=0></a> rodeo. Great <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/7/7_2_121.gif' border=0></a> and <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/7/7_10_3.gif' border=0></a>, <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/349.gif' border=0></a> and <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/15/15_4_124.gif' border=0></a>. Wow........cowboys wear tight pants and are HOT!!!! <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/16/16_4_49.gif' border=0></a> The <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/84v.gif' border=0></a> was very funny too (even though I generally don't like 'em}.

The scariest part of the evening was when Grant fell through the bleachers from about 10ft up. <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/4/4_11_1.gif' border=0></a> He was miraculously fine! Did not get a bruise, scrape or cut anywhere on his little self. Of course, I was more of a wreck than he was. The kid must have :bounce:'d or something, he didn't even cry. I think he was in shock then the <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/82.gif' border=0></a> welled with tears, but never did they shed. That's my <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/23/23_15_6.gif' border=0></a> boy! ::yes::

Gotta go get the <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/16/16_3_112.gif' border=0></a>, he's awake. And it's lunch time anyhow and Grant is in the fridge. <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/4/4_13_3.gif' border=0></a>

<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/510.gif' border=0></a> for Daniel and llebrekniT I'll bet your MIL brings another pie or something instead of just <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/12/12_4_22.gif' border=0></a>.

BTW, what is poor Daniel thinking of you guys out there having all kinds of yummy desserts? HUH? I bet he's wanting some. :( You'd better be saving him a tad or be taking him for <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/7/7_4_11.gif' border=0></a> after. Gotta make sure the growing boy gets treats too! ::yes::

Afternoon, everyone!

Mad4Mickey :bday

llebrekniT Sounds like fun! Wish we could come dheer you on!

billysotherdad Sorry about your tree :( I can relate. I kill ivy. Yes, that nuisance plant that lots of people can't get rid of. I like it :) But I can't seem to keep it alive :( Maybe a nice fake one would look good ::yes::

Well, got out early this morning and made it to the Disney Store before they even opened! That is a feat for me! Got lots of stuff on sale....

28306_Z.jpg

Reg. $58.00, on sale for $24.99!

26775_Z.jpg
and
26770_Z.jpg

Reg. $19.50 each, on sale for $5.99 each

29974_P.jpg

Reg. $58, on sale for $29.99

And some half-price Peter Pan, Mickey, and Buzz undies for Walt, who will begin potty training soon :)

I think I did real good ::yes:: The Hook/Pan playset and snowglobe are for Walt's birthday next month, the dolls will be put away for Christmas for Abbie (she's starting ballet next month :) ), and the undies are...well, it's obvoius what thos are for :) Wanted a shirt for me, but didn't see anything too exciting. Isn't that always the way?! Gonna check out the online sale before it runs out on the 28th :)

Then Ritz camera for pix, Chick-Fil-A for lunch, then WalMart for (hopefully) the last few cases of diapers and some groceries and industrial strength insect repellent. The swamp flies (actually deer flies or yellow flies) are so bad we can't go outside :( They're immune to everything we've tried so far :( Picked up some 100% DEET....did you even KNOW you could get that?!? And some other stuff in the hunting section. Nothing in the grocery section is strong enough :(

So, what's shakin' with everyone else?

We used the free passes from school last year and the kids got in just fine.. Too bad about this weekend!!! maybe later in July BUT.. we don't get back until the 18th late... the next weekend will be busy with getting stuff ready 'cause the boys then leave for Boy Scout camp in So Dakota on the 28th and then they are back on the 8th of August.. and the reading coupons expire 8/8.. We went last July 4th and it was crowded late in the afternoon but the morning was fine.. We left and watched the fireworks from Vernon Hills from the Hawthorne Mall.

Why not join us at MK on the 4th???

Hi kadaten I did the running .. home depot, wal mart and Sams this am , plus laundry.. I am waiting until the cat leaves to clean as I want to get the cat hairs vaccuumed up etc..

Yes the kitty's vacation at the Family Cat Resort and Spa is over.. she has had a great time but now she needs to go back to be with my Dad. She will vacation with us again another time.

The lady that my mom got them from, she said she has used them to get in before. They took them and let her and the her kids in with no problem. There is no such ticket as a student ticket for sale, it's the same as an adult unless they are under 54"....that's why I think they let adults in using them too.

Uh, yeah....if I could get to MK on the 4th....I would!!! ::yes::

Deadheadbelle what are you taking to the game, or are you <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/3/3_4_14.gif' border=0></a> at work tonight?

kadaten GREAT shopping Momma! I am surprised you didn't get any Americana anything.
Grant has those undies you got for Walt...they are so cute. ::yes::

We are eating dinner before heading to the game as the game doesn't start until 7pm. We aren't bringing anything tonight. Too much pressure to eat. :hyper:

ibouncetoo got my package today. :)

T-shirt is ok in length. Not too long, not too short. Could be a tad longer, but hey....t'will work.

As far as the other stuff, one pair of pants two people could fit in must go back. I am placing an online order now and sending all I have back that I can still get in the same colors and sizes, so I can get the free shipping and 20% off. I need a different color T too, they are so cute. I will get refunded for the stuff I return. It won't cost much to send back, maybe 5.00 and it's worth it. That is IF they won't just give me the discount they are offering now without going through this hassle. I sent them and email to ask. Can't hurt. I might call too, before I submit the order and if I don't get an email fairly quickly. ::yes::

Hey Lew!! All ours had was t-shirts and the snowglobe. What else is there? I don't wear many t-shirts...kinda picky unless it's an event thing or matchy-matchy thing... and none of them were wonderful. Plus all they had were the fuzzy kind and I wasn't sure that wouldn't look all tired and worn out soon.

We're *trying* to limit our spending on "stuff" since we're probably over our weight limit for moving. (We were over last time, but got by on a technicality. We're gotten an increased limit, but I think we've added more than the 2000 pound increase we got  ) If we're over, we have to pay for every pound over our limit! I actually have NO idea how much it is, but I don't want to find out. Moving is expensive enough without getting tagged with a penalty charge

They had tons of beach stuff, but Abbie already has 3 suits and Walt has 2, and they have 3 beach chairs courtesy of Grandma. Neither one of them can wear shoes from there...Abbie's super narrow (some narrows are too wide) and Walt is Wide to Double Wide....where did these kids get their feet?!?....so I have to buy shoes at StrideRite  REALLY wanted to get them the cute beach shoes, but we're already making do with some that don't fit well...didn't feel like spending the dough on more that don't fit.

Of course, the kids wanted more light spinners, but we have 3 from our trips so I was a mean mommy and said no. Well, actually, Walt left with one  Noticed it after we put the bag in the car and came back in to pick up our pictures at Ritz. So had to take it back and apologize...."Hi. We left with this but didn't pay for it. Sorry." I guess that's better than Abbie's old habit. When she was a baby she'd take off her shoes and quietly drop them somewhere in the mall and I'd have to retrace our steps to find them.

Rambling....sorry....

Good job on the shopping trip kadaten!

Lewski my parents are supposed to bring snacks tonight. They come to every game too. My dad said he wanted my mom to make - pumpkin bars! Uh, wrong season dad. Whatever, never argue with my dad, he's very stubborn. We'll eat 'em up anyway. Mom makes great pumpkin bars.::yes::

And Daniel gets his team snack after the games, don't worry about him, he's fine. He needs to eat though. He's grown a couple inches this spring and lost two pounds! He's all muscle though, very fit little guy.

I'm a little nervous about the game, the team we are playing is the only one to beat us all year. When we played them the 2nd time, we beat them, but it was a reallyclosegame. So of course this game will most likely be a nail biter.

Remember 7:00! If you can't cheer us on in person, do a few little <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/20_3_36.gif' border=0></a><a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/18/18_1_204.gif' border=0></a> where ever you are tonight!

Bya!
