I had a Mrs. Beasley. We (my sisters and I) wore out her record so when you pulled the string all she said was &^%$*(&^%(* gibberish.

Oh, is it THAT bother, um, I mean brother?

And thank you for answering my question AND I was waiting for someone to comment on my monkeyballs.

BTW, they're delicious and worth the trouble.

cadburysmom thanks for the analysis. I was just thinking that I need Hugga in here, he would analyze it for me. He would probably say that I pushed her.

Hey everyone, if you missed the party with Mr. Pitt last night I saw him on Good Morning America this morning. He whispered at the screen that he's coming back to the island tonight because he had such a great time with us. Woohoo!!!! More bartending and backrubs from Brad. ;)

Mornin' all... no hangover here, I ate enough shrimp that the 'ritas never really took hold. Plus I took a couple of advil before going to sleep. However, I am totally pooped because I stayed at the pool until about 1:15, then answered a few Disney questions on the Boards, tried to find someone to take some of our extra Cindy ressies, and went to bed about 2:15. DH was in Cinci, and so I read for a while and all of a sudden I realized it was 3:00 and my alarm was set for 6:30. :earseek: Then I couldn't go to sleep. Could it be that I missed the deafening decibel snoring that I usually hear? He'll be back today, so no partying for me tonight, but then he's in Phoenix Wed. and Thurs. nights... so I'll be up late here again then.

iluvtink , Deadheadbelle and llebrekniT how far are you from Cincinati???
geffric - I'm almost exactly 1 1/2 hours north of King's Island, which is on the far north side of Cinci. Where will you be and when will you be there?

Thanks for all the Katie PD... it worked! She's back at school, :cheer2: , still not feeling great, but not asking to stay home. I talked to the Ped. yesterday, and she also said that the pressure of fluid could hurt, even if it wasn't infected. Katie had so many ear infections when she was a baby, she was on a maintenance dose of Augmentin for almost a year. I would have rather had tubes, but our doctor was very conservative.

Monkeybread ... I cheat!!! I take the large pack (not 5) of Pillsbury Flaky Buttermilk Biscuits, cut them into fourths, roll them in butter and cinnamon sugar, put them in a non-stick cake pan, and bake at 350 for about 9-10 minutes. My kids don't even know what the real monkeybread recipe with real monkeyballs (?) tastes like! They've never had mountain oysters either!!!

QOTD: My mom is in Nashville...:( and so it's a kinda sad day for me. Traditionally my kids and DH do dishes and cook all day, and I get scads of bedding plants and dig in the dirt for as long as I want! Kelley is old enough now that she plans and makes dinner all by herself, except that I have to help handle the meat ... she won't touch raw stuff... let me die of e-coli or salmonella or whatever. :)

Today I am about to head over to my friend the other Disney lady's house and let her know that PixieDust.com is taken!!! :teeth: I'll do that AFTER she gives me my Panera Bread Cinnamon Crunch bagel. She's loosening up a little about the whole thing, I think she finally realizes that I really am not going to try to take business that might be hers, like our elementary school, etc. (I can't blame her for being a bit uptight... she told me she was going to work with her Disney cousin, and the next week, I'm blathering on about doing the same thing!) I still love how y'all stand up for me. Thanks!

Today is also the day the announcement about the California cruises some out, so I need to get the details from the Disney TA website and send it to some friends in Nashville and San Francisco. I'm gonna finish the final test too for the College of Disney Knowledge and fax it in, since they will never fix their on-line testing, it appears.

Oh, and of course, I need to do dishes, laundry, and try to pick up all the junk that is laying around... I have no clue how some people can keep their houses spotless and still have a life! I'm just not made that way.

I'll check in after lunch. Y'all all have a good day!

:wave2:

Don't worry, ya big DORK, we still love ya!:love1:

I'd keep em coming but I don't want to humiliate you too much......

BTW, Homicidal was made in the early sixties

........can you guess which other incredibly witty and attractive "Conquerer of Slasher Kings" was born on this day in the sixties?
HINT! HINT! HINT!

No comments or questions or anything?

Gee, I'm so glad I shared.
Well, I'd say you don't want to stay at the Contemporary. That's what I got out of your dream.

Mrs. Beasley. OMG does that take me back. When I was in I think 4th grade we had a teacher who looked exactly like her. As a matter of fact I got sent out into the hallway when I referred to her as Mrs. Beasley.

BTW, tink_sparkles and hyzdufan. I finally got your buttons working on the color wheel.

tink_sparkles, so glad your having a good time this week. I hope you find Prince Charming soon, so you can spend plenty of time with him of course. (Hey, maybe you can bring him back to the island too. I'm sure we'd all like to meet him. ;) )

OMG!

Panera Bread Cinnamon Crunch bagel with hazelnut cream cheese is one of my all time favorites!

After I drop Jordan off at school, I sometimes treat myself by going to Panera, eating a yummy Cinnamon Crunch bagel with hazelnut cream cheese, sip a latte and read the morning paper.......absolute heaven!:teeth:

s&k's mom, how frightening for you to have a teacher that looked like Mrs Beasly. She is terrifying!!

Does anyone get that I hate dolls!!! ugh

Re: Your dream TINKBACKWARDS, hmmm pretty weird.

(DHB be careful. TINKBACKWARDS may do you in when yu least expect it!I would not diagree with her for anything. Do what she says and you'll be ok!! ) hehehe:teeth:

TAGLIARCHY!

Very interesting dream llebrekniT....I think you need to make a quick Mother's Day trip to WDW to confront your fears. :teeth: Be sure to take Deadheadbelle along but tell her in advance that you're staying on the ground floor!

I can't believe that someone found a slasher movie that RickinNYC hadn't seen! Great job cadburysmom!

Glad to hear your DD is feeling better iluvtink!

QOTD: For Mother's Day, I'll have the whole house to myself for the day until Jordan returns around 6pm from a weekend at his dad's house. I'll then let him pick where he wants to take me for dinner and sit across from him, proudly knowing I have the best kid in the whole restaurant :teeth: I love being a mom more than I could ever have imagined!

QOTD#2: I've already left two hints for you people...but let's see if you can guess this one....

Which extremely witty and attractive TAGLIKIN (who was able to stump RickinNYC aka Slasher Movie King this morning) was born on this day?
HINT! HINT! HINT!

IBOUNCETOO, What did you do on my birthday? I don't think I saw that one. :(

CADBURYSMOM, excellent analysis with regard to TB's dream. It was either that, or TB just wants to push DHB off of a balcony because she hasn't decided where she wants to stay in October. ;)

Seriously, I've had dreams like that too.

Mother's Day? Who knows. Rob usually goes out his mom's house on the Saturday before. Then on Mother's Day I usually find myself cleaning toilets or washing my family's underwear and mumbling obsenities under my breath. I know, I know--I should tell my family to clean the toilet and do the laundry, but it's a martyr thing.

Then in the afternoon we have my parents over for dinner which I get to cook. My mom gets to clean up after. ;)

Geez, listen to me! And I don't even have PMS!

It's your birthday???

Hooray! Rick finally got SOMETHING right today!::yes::
Yes,.....and you can get off your knees now :teeth:

Another QOTD -- when do you stop worrying about your mother's Mother's Day and start calling the day your own??!! Okay, I'll shut up now. ;)

Hey, Beanie got dropped off at the vet this morning at 8:00 a.m. She's either under the scalpal right now or in recovery. No more heat cycles in our house! :Pinkbounc (Recommendation -- if anyone ever gets a female puppy, have her spayed before her first heat--no really!!)

Exactly on that day?

Well, cool.

MIL's bday is the day after this year. So we have to double up on her gifts. Maybe I'll try and make dinner for her on her bday. I dunno.

What I got out of my dream: Let DHB pick where we are staying and keep my mouth shut like I said I would! Also, resist the urge to push her off cliffs? I dunno.

iluvtink, that sounds like the method we use. We make the cut up biscuits into monkeyballs, which then go on to become monkeybread, only we use a bundt pan. I'll share a little secret with you for the best batch ever - use the cinnamon sugar biscuits!

I dunno what to do about dinner. Suggestions?
