Ok Rick , I've got time for one more.....

1. You know those electronic seat thingies that are on stairways so invalids can ride down instead of walking down? Ok, in this movie, an invalid old women is at the top of the stairs in one of these seats. It slowly moves down the stairs and when it finally gets to the bottom, it stops abruptly and her head goes flying off her neck!

Name the movie.........oh King of Slasher Flicks!:teeth:

Sorry, didn't see this question. The scene sounds familiar but I honestly am not sure! It could be Hollywood Horror something or other from the last 60's. Or you could be thinking of Gremlins but the woman wasn't decapitated. She was catapulted. Or perhaps Friday the 13th Part II? But it was a young guy who was wheelchair bound, had a machete thwacked in his head and subsequently shoved down a flight of stairs.

Good morning everyone! Sounds like a missed a good party. Um, I think I have to go with DEADHEADBELLE on her choice of bartenders. I love Jim Carrey. Besides, did anyone hear what Brad Pitt was quoted as saying? I heard it on the entertainment report on one of our local radio stations. He compared a certain part of his anatomy to that of a hamsters. Self-deprecation? Coming from a Hollywood star? Now isn't that a breath of fresh air!

Count me in for the baby picture game. I'll have to bring one in to work and scan it and send it to OF.

Hey geffric I am about 50 minutes from Cincy. Are you coming down there?

OMG! I forgot to tell my dream I was having when I woke up this morning.

We were staying at the Contemporary (obviously). DHB and I went out on our patio overlooking BayLake to sit. There were no rails and we were on the 14th floor. (I don't even know if there is a 14th floor and since when do they not have rails?) DHB went over and sat down with her legs hanging over the edge. I walked over to where she was and started to say "oh, I don't know if you should sit like that..." and she leaned forward and over she went. Real quickly, in my head, I was thinking "Oh - I don't wanna look" but at the same time "I need to watch to see how she lands so I can tell the doctor."

Well, she landed on her back in some bushes. (There are no bushes. In real life, she probably would have bounced off the side a few times and landed on concrete.) I could see her twitching a little, so I knew there was some hope. Josh came running out there and started to look over the edge and I stopped him. DH came in and I told him what happened and told him to get down there, wasn't sure if anybody would find her and help her.

A nurse (? where she come from?) came walking in the room and said, nonchalantly, there's probably not going to be much they can do for her. I got in her face and yelled "You get an ambulance here and you do everything that can be done to save her! There's all kinds of things you can do!" The nurse said, again very nonchalantly, "Yeah, we can take her to the hospital, her stomach was making some noises and she feels squishy". I said "Oh, probably just some internal bleeding then?".

Just then they wheeled DHB in the room (at the CR) on a hospital bed and she lifted her head and gave me this look and said "I told you I didn't want to stay here."

And that's when I woke up.

They were famous for their sausage, which happened to be made from hapless tourists that crossed their path. Now, how did they tenderize their tourists? By burything them up to their necks while still alive and feeding them until ready!

As for the werewolf movie, sounds like Project Metalbeast but I'm not 100% sure. Gimme some more details!

Oh, and they cut out their voiceboxes so they couldn't scream!! I loved that movie.

No, that's not the name of the mutant werewolf movie. I can't remember what it was called!!! There were some mililtary guys there doing some kind of training which was how they came upon these mutants.

Yep, that's it! did you like it?

Yep! I thought it was extremely well done. Even Joe liked it, thought it was exciting and had a great twist towards the end.

Speaking of creepy movies, here is another one about a doll. It was an African doll that wore a voodoo looking necklace and it fell off and of course the doll came to life and crawled under the couch. And the woman came back to look at it and it jumped out at her and was biting her anke. Does anyone remember that one?? I am still scared thinking of it. Title RICK??? BTW I HATE MRS BEASLY!! Does anyone remember her? I still have nightmares about her and her grandmotherly ways

Don't worry, ya big DORK, we still love ya!:love1:

I'd keep em coming but I don't want to humiliate you too much......

BTW, Homicidal was made in the early sixties

........can you guess which other incredibly witty and attractive "Conquerer of Slasher Kings" was born on this day in the sixties?

That was actually one story from an anthology horror TV film called Trilogy of Terror. That particular story starred Karen Black as the terrorized woman.

Ok, didn't you guys like my dream?

No comments or questions or anything?

Gee, I'm so glad I shared.

QOTDWhat are your Mother's Day plans?

Normally we go out with ohanafamily's family - just like just about every other holiday  - but this year one of his brothers is going to be out of town. So at the moment we have NO plans. I suggested to ohanafamily that we try to take his mother out anyway, even if the rest of the family won't be there. (I like it better that way anyway, can't stand his other brother's family.) Otherwise it's going to be a nice, quiet day for us I think.

Oh my God it's a small world just came on. But I'm so bummed I was reading my all ears net e-newsletter and it's gonna be closed when we are there in October.
:(
I'm bummed, too. I wasn't supposed to close until early June but they moved the date up to this past Sunday so we won't get to ride it on our trip later this month either.

My mother is actually GREAT at analyzing dreams and should have been a psychiatrist....she'd probably have a field day with this one!

Here's my analysis:

Ok, you and DHB like oppulent surroundings but also like to live dangerously. But DHB isn't as strong as you are and gets herself into bad situations. Others think she is not capable of being strong and you constantly save her from herself, pull her out of bad situations and make everything right again.

In other words, you are the leader and she is the follower. Sometimes you get her in trouble and feel bad about it but you always make things right again.

Next patient please........:teeth:
