Ok...I'm back. Neighbors came over right after I got the kids down....brought me dinner ...so we ate and chatted. Despite all their little quirks, I'm going to miss them when they move away this summer We've followed them around on the last 2 sets of orders, but not this time....they're headed to San Francisco, and if all goes as hoped, we'll be going to Tampa.

Wait....just checked DH's email again. The job at his 1st choice is already spoken for so he can have his 2nd choice or ask about other cities... we'll see when he gets home.

Bichon Barb Didn't really have a chance to say anything...he was hanging up on me to talk to the agent before anyone else volunteered. Then his parents met him at the airport for dinner, so we haven't really chatted yet. He'll be home in an hour or so....we'll see if he still thinks I'm crazy for wanting to go to Disney with a couple of axe-murderers

I did Young Life camp there, too, my junior year....our group took a bus all the way from Columbia, SC, to go! We had a blast! Your DD will LOVE it!!

Bichon Barb I agree, that would be better for crowds! Less weekend days....less locals to contend with....but from what I understand, Columbus Day weekend is pretty popular as a school break time, so it's probably going to be busy no matter what. That said, don't bother 'bout me regarding dates....DH won't be available to watch the kiddos and DMIL doesn't work, so any day is good for her (if she agrees to do it....haven't *quite* figured out how to approach it with her....she may think I'm crazy for hanging out with crazies on the internet ) May ease her into it on our trip...they're joining us at Disney in 2 weeks She and DFIL are SUCH great people....that's why I always invite them along on our trips

OK, I PMed you Lewski709...

While I was writing my PM I was reminded of another story...

BR (before RRBB, I was at MGM with another girl...well, they had this special preview of coming things. we went to it. If you have been to Disney Quest, you might have seen the magic carpet 3-d simulation ride. Well, they were showing off the the technology. Well, the girl I was with (also a computer person...very Apple) was watching the demonstration and kept trying to drag me away from this glass wall that had 4 room-sized computer boxes with lots of blinking lights (one was turned off, and two of the carpets were down). These were CRAY Super computers that I had read design specs for in college, but had never seen.... I was drooling...
