Good evening everyone, I hope all mums have had a good mothers day

Well I spent the whole day at the theatre. We had a 5 hour band rehearsal followed by the auditions.

I GOT THE PART I WANTED - I'M GOING TO BE A NUN!!!!

So who wants to join me for a party to celebrate (or are nuns not allowed to party?!)

Oh I meant to say CONGRATULATIONS TO THOSE WHO ARE NEWLY TAGGED!!

Just popping in to say the above. Hope everyone is having a great day!

We went to DMIL's this morning and then on to my mom's. The rest of the day we have been at home, putting plants around the new water pond and installed a fountain in it.

Can't stay and play. Need to tidy up the patio area from all the work that's been going on out there. MIL may stop by to see it if "she makes it through the day". DHB's kids are doing fine, MIL said they haven't missed her a bit. Josh told me "well, of course I miss her, of course I do, but that's OK, I am not crying." He's so cute.

While we were there the favorite child, Donny, called. Guess what? He is going to join us in taking her out to dinner tomorrow night for her birthday! And the kicker is - Nancypants ain't comin'! Of course not, she has a "meeting", whatever that means. (She doesn't work.) Anyway, that means Don is bringing all three kids, by himself, into a sit-down restaurant. Should be interesting.... I'm actually looking forward to it, except that I know that means that MIL won't be able to just sit and relax, she will have to help him with the kids I'm sure.

So, I'm off to tidy up. Well, maybe I'll call over there first, see if she is still coming. I don't wanna run around tidying up for no reason. It is still Mother's Day after all.

Lewski I saw a post that said something about teasing me, can't find the reference. Explain please.

OK I'm beginning to feel left out here! So many people have new tags. I am beginning to feel slightly naked too, my tag (which I love) is only one word. I think I might have to start hiding in the bushes too!!

I hope everyone is having a wonderful day today, especially all our mothers.

Well, like expected lunch - buffet at a country club - was all of an hour with the family. And also like expectd, they didn't bother to wait for everyone to arrive before starting to eat. That's okay, the gift I made for MIL was a big hit. It even had her in tears - happy ones of course.

We've been taking it easy this afternoon, kind of lazing around. Not sure what we're gonna go for dinner. Maybe we'll run out to the grocery store and find something there. (I know if I let ohanafamily decide we'll go out for dinner. )

Congrats on getting the part of a nun Danauk. I know you really wanted that part. And it's definitely reason to celebrate AND party!!!!

I think the festivities officially begin in about an hour, but what's to stop us from getting it going now???? I say bring on the music, bring on the drinks, and watch out for little green dragons doing cannonballs into the swimming pool.
