Is it an older computer?

No 3/4 years. We have had nothing but trouble with this HP. It lost it's hard drive twice. When you call them, they won't even talk to you without giving your credit card. Horrible service.

That's too bad. I was able to get a Dell with a corporate discount through my work. I hadn't previously liked them, but knock on wood, it's been good so far. It's a few years old.

Don't know if it helps, but we've had Dells in our family for a while, and they've done well. I know sometimes you can get great deals on laptops at Walmart depending on how flexible she is with what she needs for school.

Don't know if it helps, but we've had Dells in our family for a while, and they've done well. I know sometimes you can get great deals on laptops at Walmart depending on how flexible she is with what she needs for school.

Dude. I missed so much yesterday. Oh, man.

But have a good reason. Yesterday around 3:00, a friend who works with Dan says, "Can I pick up your kids (all 3) for a sleepover?"

This was Caroline's and Danny's first ever sleep over. But what were we gonna say? NO? It's not often we have all three kids gone so we can go out.

Anyway, we went to dinner. We were going to go to a movie, but we were so tired, we didn't make it there. Oh, well. A walk through the mall and a visit to Target and a quiet afternoon.

I just got up. No one in my room at 5am gives me the opportunity to do that.

You are so lucky! A totally kid free night? We're just having our oldest go away for a few days for her Spring Break. But no one wants to take the 3 year old yet.

Hello everyone. We are working on the house which is not fun. I need to go finish cleaning up after working on sheetrock. My husband did the mudding the other day and finished some sanding. I am not supposed to be around that horrible mess. Terrible for my sinuses. Hallway is almost done then we can paint. I was trying to remove some wallpaper in the kitchen. Idiots who built in the 70's put it directly on the sheetrock. Removing it is damaging the sheetrock so I only removed what was peeling. Now more mudding to try to fix the damaged sheetrock. UGH My daughter is finally cleaning her disaster area and my son is working in the woods with my brother. I'd rather work in the woods than what I am doing in the house.

I hope the work goes well and your sinuses survive. I don't know how you do that netipot thing. I got a similar thing to try by Afrin and it freaks me out. It's just hard to breathe through your mouth while you pour water in one side of your nose to have it come out the other. And if one side is clogged, where does the water go? Your throat.

So DH and a couple of guys are moving the piano out of the house today (involves going down a flight of stairs to ground level; our house is a raised ranch). My BIL comes along and starts telling us about this card that he saw, that someone got, and it has this angry monkey on the front, and the inside says something about it flinging poo.....
Dude!....piano-moving is not an opportune time to start telling the people involved about something that funny!!!!!!!!

Does he not know about your fear of monkeys and their poo-flinging ways?

My last few computers have been Dell. I've been very happy with them. Rarely have needed service. My last laptop only died because they don't survive well when dropped on a tile floor.

Ya'll were a wee bit chatty yesterday. My computer kept kicking me off, so I quit trying.

Good morning. I am brewing coffee. At least I hope I am. The coffee pot is another thing that is dying on us. My electric can opening died a few weeks ago. My microwave is on it's last leg and the 2 large burners on my stove keep kicking off. Very frustrating when you are trying to use them and they keep turning off. I wonder what will go next?

The neti pot takes some getting used to at 1st. You have to hold your head just right or the salt water will slide down your throat which made me gag. I can tell when I am really stuffed/clogged b/c it drains out the other side much slower than normal. It's quick and easy once you become used to it. I have to do it every day.

Dell - YES, HP - NO NO NO

My computer kept kicking me off, so I quit trying.

Boy do I know all too well how frustrating that is.
