Of course, you'll have to imagine the last couple of babnanas because I don't anticipate being on after next Sunday (unless I can use the laptop!!...it's old and slow, but does hook up to the DSL....hey there's an idea!)

Anywho, creativeamanda I think the boards were slow last night with the glut of displaced DISers who had gone through withdrawal after 10 hours of no boards!! Everybody logged on at once!

Mean Queen - we're in talks with the landlord of the place we want to rent! We're trying to get them to agree to do short-term at the beginning, so that we're not locked into a year's lease "just in case." I also discovered that apps for a magnet school next year have already closed, so that's a bummer. If we get this rental, the younger boys will be at Sawgrass Lake Elementary and DS12 would be at Meadowlawn Middle (those are the assigned schools; I'm really interested in an alternative school for DS12 but it looks like it may have to wait another year). More updates as they become available!

Wow that was some downtime!! How was everyone's Sunday? We're all fighting yet another round of colds which we DO NOT NEED NOW!!!!!!!!!!! The stupid weather doesn't help....upper 50s all last week to 30s today and tomorrow. This is going to be a busy week for us and we need to be healthy! I'll try to post as much as I can because after next Sunday I'll be off for a while! Which, in this case, is a good thing.

DS has his four year check up today, so that's the majority of what we'll be getting ready for / doing. It's at 1215, and, yes, there are shots. We have talked about them, so I'm hoping it won't be too bad.

Haley went to Sawgrass before I moved her. PM me or call me later if you want to chat about it. Haley's current school starts a middle school next year. There's also the Florida Virtual School if you are interested in homeschooling.

Paige's party went well! Though she was not feeling great, you couldn't tell. A few Claritin and she seems much better. So I think the pollen is getting to her as well as me.

I hope the boards get back up to speed soon!

When DD was about 5-7 yrs. she once threw a temper tantrum in the dr. office because she DIDN'T get a shot. She threw herself down, screamed, kicked, pounded fists and everything. There was another mom there. Both of there jaws dropped down. One of them asked if she was doing that because she didn't get the shot. I said yep, she loves shots. Odd child.
