TarzansKat... I know what you are saying about 2 story homes. When we built this one we picked a plan with the master on the 1st floor. Didn't want to be climbing stairs when we are old. (And the way this winter is going that might be tomorrow. Those dark days don't cha know) I go upstairs to clean. DD is great about it, My boys....not so much Our pool table is up there and hubby and I do play. But other than that

That's not a bad idea. My biggest worry though, is that if we have a master bedroom on the first floor, and we want to have another baby, that I'll be trudging up and down the stairs once we try to get that little one into their own room.

Sooooooo not appealing.

So, I'm suddenly in this mad rush to get packed and be ready to go at a moment's notice. We figured out today that if we can get out of here before the end of the month, we won't have to pay almost $200 to re-register the van here in NH. For a week. Before we have to turn around and RE-re-register it in a new state. For more money. Dude.

So, update on the septic tank. . .problem was a clogged leach line. A friend came out and fixed it for us. For FREE. (Well, not exactly for free, a 12 pack was involved. ) Anyway, no problems now. Whew. He says that the tank put in for us 7 years ago was double the size we should really need and it should be a long time before we have to actually pump it. He also said that the clog would have never been a problem and would have corrected itself had we not had 6 inches of rain that day. We live near a swamp, so that's bad. The back yard still has standing water (well, ice--it's 25 degrees here).

Yeah, with cash. I'd probably rather clean yours than mine. I'm betting I have a lot more animal hair floating around.


Exciting to be looking at houses.

Also exciting that someone is expecting a baby.
