Me too but I'm waiting for DS9's friend to go home.... I watch him after school once or twice a week, but with vacation this week his mom asked me if I could do a couple of whole days. She always wants to be here by 4:00pm or so, but it always ends up being like 5:30....

Plus not feeling well, I just want to be able to relax and not be waiting for someone to come.

I'm just now getting to the computer. I came home from work, made dinner, then helped DH try to "stonewash" a pair of old jeans for our 80's Prom.

For work, I went to a Wii Bowling tournament between retirement homes. Some of those people took it very seriously! It was fun to watch. It was great for people of all activity levels, from the active senior to the ones who were wheelchair bound.

I feel like carp.....

I have a carpy cold. If I had unlimited hot water I'd just stand under the hot water all day. I can't get warm and just want to breathe steam!

The jeans turned out okay. DH says it's what he would have worn, but a bit looser. He's wearing a pastel green button down polo shirt. Since he's bald, there's nothing we can do about his hair. This is actually a show that travels, like "Les Mis" or "Phantom" but it's interactive. There's also one off-broadway that is always there. http://www.awesome80sprom.com/

And kids aren't angels when they're sleeping in your bed. Mine kick, push, and snore like crazy.

I know most of my customers at the bank really well, and when I'm on the drive thru, and they come through with sleeping little ones, I always tell them to enjoy it.

Well, I have an "easy" Friday ahead of me, my father is coming here to watch DS while I work. They always have a fantastic time. They play all day, make a mess of the place (I don't care, they're having fun), eat junk, no nap, and we come home to a happy, wired, tired kid who goes to bed early.

I know it sounds like I'm not happy about that, but I really am! It's so nice for them to spend the time together and it gets me out of having to get two people instead of just myself ready and out the door. I do so relish these days.

Good morning ya'll.

Guess what? We are supposed to have temps in the 70's through Saturday. Then guess what is already in the forecast for Monday? Don't know huh? SNOW!!!!! But between now and then we are supposed to be in for some sever weather. Guess I need to get the weather radio out and make sure the flashlights are ready to go. We have flash lights stashed all over this house. The power goes out if someone around here sneezes to hard. And the the funny thing about that is just a few months ago the power company installed new transformers that was supposed to stop a lot of the power outages. It just made things worse.

That sounds like so much fun!! If hubby and I did that the kids would be embarrassed to see how we actually dressed back then. They probably wouldn't let us out of the house.
