I wish. DH has taken a side job that involves working in the middle of the night. There has been no TK and DH time lately. :::sniff, sniff::: Ah well.

We live in SC about 33 miles off the coast. So we deal with the treat of hurricanes and we are far enough inland to sometimes have winter weather. Oh yeah....I'm only 6 hours away from Disney!!

Happy Friday pee-puls!

I didn't sleep well last night at ALL, but I'm doing better this morning. Today I only feel about 50% carppy. I'm trying to decide if I'm up to making a trip out to go to Walmart, Staples and Michael's. It's about a 40-minute drive one way. We have rain coming later on and I would want to be back before that. Nothing like driving through a known moose corridor in lousy weather....

Good Morning all

hope everyone had a great night!

I had an ok morning my dd has taken upon herself to rush everyone out of the house in the mornings just so she can get to school early so in the process i end up forgetting something and have to go back after I drop them off now mind you it only takes me 15 to drop them off and get myself to work and she wants to leave 30 min early. this morning I forgot my KEYS and phone had to crawl in the window and hurt my knee

I told her from now on that if she wanted to get to school at a certain time she could walk but if not then i would drive her BUT at MY pace.

so other then that everything is a ok

I think you should go back and take a picture of the whole climbing in the thing so we could understand the whole process.

sorry nope not ganna do it but I made out to be bigger then it was to my dd so that she would get the point. was that mean?

it's not that bad it was probably funnier to watch me trying to climb in the window. and no no one would have thought I was breaking in b/c we live in a small town and every one knows every one.

but the funniest thing that happened was a few years ago when dd thought she could sneak out of the house and a cop was driving by and stopped and knocked on the door and said Linda I thought you should know i saw Heather climbing out the window. poor thing can't even do a normal teenage thing with out someone knowing but it sure helped me

I know and no she hasn't done it since she said what the point i will be dragged back here every time or someone will call me do you know that Heather is at so n so? which how i knew she wasn't where she was supposed to be one day. the lady that works at the gas station saw here and called me. poor dd!

More layoffs at my plant yesterday. Twenty-three hourly employees and one supervisor. Plus they eliminated third shift altogether for the most part. The supervisor who was laid off was third shift like me. Luckily, they found a creative way to keep me...

I don't think this is the end of it though. I really think we're going to end up closing for good ...

So what do you American Idol fans think of the group so far? I'm glad Danny (last week)and the dark haired guy (Adam?) who sang this week made it through. They are the only two I care for so far. Some of the people I thought were really bad ... And that Nick/Norman character. Give me a break! What a waste of air time.

I was glad Adam made it. I hope they bring back Anoop for a wildcard spot.

Hey ya'll. I'm gonna say my 2 cents worth about AI (is 2 cents still worth 2 cents? ) I like Danny and Adam as well. But I also like the little red headed 16 year. She sang that song by Heart really well. So far I have to agree with ya'll that the season needs some deodorant or something. (They gotta do something to stop the stink ) But I think that once we get to the final 12 and they are getting a little training that things will change. At least I'm hoping so.

SadieDog...glad you got your computer fixed.
DO...I sure hope things level out for everyone there soon. I'm just hoping what the experts are saying is true. That the recession should be ending this year and we should be in a recovery period next year.
