I understand, TK. My girls were out of school three days. This morning, Boo was still coughing, so I got up at 4 am and took her in the shower with some Menthol on her chest. She acts like she feels better now.

Hey guys. Sorry I've been MIA.

DS spiked a fever this weekend and had some other issues. Fortunately, he's on antibiotics, and he seems in much better spirits. Still coughing, but he's quite a trooper. And I'm a tired mama. :lmao:

Ohhh...bless his little heart. Ya'll have had a really tough time of it.

Oh, and Smiley, everyone is gonna be angry at me for saying this. . .

I'm getting tired of Happy Farting Pooh. (but don't tell anyone I said it, okay?)

:thumbsup2

Afternoon all. I spent the day at Animal Kingdom and the crowds were back with a vengance. It's gonna be a long year for the locals trying to avoid the crowds...like me. :rolleyes1

I don't believe a slow season exists any longer. :sad2:

On one hand I'm sorry for you. But on the other hand I'm happy for Disney.

It must have been a picture of Kimmar in a coconut bra. The Great Mods of the Dis have spared our eyes. :worship: :worship: :worship:

:rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl:

I am good with a little variety too. In fact, some of you are not going to like this, but I'm not a big Pooh fan.

LegoMom, glad you had a good time in Boston.

I was still tired this morning from a long day fishing at our camp yesterday. I feel like crap, but I had to go back on the ice today at my brothers. His girlfriend was having a small gathering to burn her mortgage papers b/c she paid her house off. I was only out there 4 hours, but it felt like all day with the way I feel. It would be nice if these chills would go away. It's snowing and going to get heavy with white out conditions. At least it's during night when most people are off the road.

That's not good news. We're going in a few weeks for DD's 3rd birthday. My DD is going with friends next weekend. This is usually the time we get the most use out of our passes because of the lighter crowds. Though AK always seems packed to me.
Yes...be prepared. Something good did happen today. When I went to the scanners, my ticket wouldn't read. The lady said it didn't start until 4/2 of this year and did I just renew the AP. I said yes and she told me to go to Guest Services. I walked over there and explained the situation to the young lady at the window. She pulled up the pass and saw the girl at the MK who renewed it screwed up on the coding...she made the new pass effective 4/2 despite the fact my old pass still had time on it. GS printed a new pass for me to use until my new one kicks in. AND...she gave me a free FP to use on any attraction I wanted. I went on Everest.

Metro West, nice you got the Fast Pass. Hope next time you go it's not so crowded.

Heavy snow right now.

Oh, I hope she feels better soon. DS is doing so much better now that he's on antibiotics, and I actually went to the gym for the first time in weeks yesterday, so we are definitely on the mend.

I was sadly out of shape, but I'll get back to my old elliptical lovin' self. :lmao:

We have, but fortunately, things are looking up! :goodvibes

Wow on the ice fishing! Something I don't know if I would have the bravery to do.

And that's so neat about paying off the house and burning the papers. I've heard of people doing that.

Perhaps my husband and I could do something symbolic like that after we pay off his last student loan. That would feel nice and complete. :thumbsup2

Well, that's quite a bummer on the mistake, but at least you got it corrected and a free fastpass out of it!

Good morning, guys!

Did anyone watch the Oscars last night? I really enjoyed it.

Ok, this is for all of you out there in cold, frozen climates, waiting anxiously for spring....

Because, y'know, there's just nothing quite like a cheeseburger done up outside on the grill....:lovestruc

(Except maybe Five Guys!!!:thumbsup2 )

.

good Morning all :goodvibes

talked to my landlord he said we can have her party there!!

I watched the Oscars last night. I guess I need to see "Slumdog Millionaire" to figure out why it won so many awards.

Well, this has been without a doubt one of my worst days since I began teaching/working in education 15 years ago. One of the students I have worked with for the past five years stopped breathing yesterday. She was gone before the EMTs could get to her house. If you pray, please say a prayer for this little girl's family.
