Sorry, anytime I hear an "-ing" pronounced with gusto, I immediately think of Forrest Gump. I could have entire exchanges with my old co-worker in "Gump-ese"!!

DH and were talking the other day and realized that we rarely have a conversation without one of us quoting some line from some movie. Like we are six degrees of separation from a film at any given time. I'm thinking, it really is true, and what does that say??....!

We are so weather confused that we went to Chick-Fil-A to get milkshakes so we could come back home and sit in front of the fireplace to drink them.

I ordered a frappucino this week, and as I was leaving Starbucks, I thought, "Now that was stupid". I really wanted a white chocolate HOT mocha, but am so used to saying "frap" that's what I ordered.

See, Mean Qeen often says that she has 2 seasons--summer and not really summer.

I say we have 2 as well--summer and fallwinterspring

And let me amend by giving the dates and temps for those 2 seasons:

Summer=April 15 until around Thanksgiving (80-100 degrees)

FallWinterSpring=Thanksgiving until April 15 (30 (at night only)-70 degrees)

DH and I do that too. We have another couple we're always with that do the same thing. The third couple in our little group are less pop culture centered and think we're all nuts. Some of our favorite sayings are "What's in the box?" "Eeee-veeel, like the fru-its of the dev-eeel." and we make up our own little baby Jesus lines from The Ballad of Ricky Bobby.

Good morning. The sun is shining. It was below zero earlier but 2 now. My son is ice fishing with my brother. It was 7 below when he picked him up. I hope they are staying warm enough. My daughter left to go dog sit until 2:30for her friends Mom which is also where the daycare is. My husband is still sleeping. Idk what time he got home last night. I SHOULD be cleaning. At least I put a load of laundry in. What are everyone's plans for the day?

Hi SadieDog! I'm sitting here at the computer (I'm the only one awake) sipping my coffee and trying to figure out what to do with my day! I'm caught up on laundry (!). I should spot-clean the bathrooms, and of course the daily vacuum.

It's supposed to be "warm"-ish today so I may go re-pack those boxes in the basement (they have been down there for so long that I don't even remember what's in half of them...). Today is dump day so it would be a good day to do some purging!

I hope it warms up here too. It's up to 8. I'm also sipping coffee at the computer and trying to figure out what to do. There is so much I don't know where to begin. I can't believe my hallway has not even been primed yet. UGH It's been like this far too long. Last weekend we enlarged the doorway between the kitchen and dining room. My house used to be a small ranch so that room used to be the living room. The doorway was pretty small and difficult to get furniture in and out. Now the larger doorway needs trim work before anything can be painted. Like you, I have a lot of stuff that need to be gone through and purged. I find it difficult to get motivated to do so, but once it's done, it's a good feeling. We went to the dump yesterday. Of course there is always cleaning and vacumming the ridiculous amount of dog hair.

Good morning almost afternoon. I was up early - went to Walmart, got my nails done. A friend from work is having a party at her house this evening so that's where I'll be hanging out. It's 48 degrees right now. Can you believe it? The snow is melting. YAY!
