Keep asking me how NS is doing, okay? I have to lose this weight. This is a serious health issue for me. Unchecked weight gain and acid reflux disease were the causes of my mother's death in 2002. I have to lose this weight. There is no other option.

Best of luck to you. I hope you can find an activity that you enjoy or at least don't mind doing. I enjoy walking my dogs, but have a hard time getting motivated in the middle of winter. It would be nice if you had someone who wanted to exercise with you so you could encourage each other. I think there are boards were people post how much they excersice which helps them get motivated. I don't know if you already have someone or would be interested in one of those boards.

We just got back from the circus. It was so fun! My DD2 just kept smiling, pointing and hugging me. She really enjoyed the elephants and the clowns. Before the show, they let you go down on the arena floor. They had circus wardrobe you could try on, clowns teaching you to walk a tight rope or slapstick, and stiltwalkers. It got a big crowded, so DD9 didn't get to try the tight rope or standing on a ball. I did realize a day at the circus is just about as expensive as a day at WDW. Popcorn was $7, cotton candy with a hat was $12, and those light up toys were $20. We managed to avoid a lot of the stuff, but not everything. We still came out with empty pockets. But it was worth it. Both girls loved it. I felt like a kid too.

I'm glad your girls had so much fun. You guys always seem to be doing something fun. I'm not a circus person. I do enjoy watching some of the acts, but I hate clowns and can't stand to watch them. Also (without going into detail as you don't want to get me started) the use of captive wild animals disgusts me.

On the news this morning they were reporting that over the weekend it was -61 in Alaska this weekend. WITHOUT the wind chill.

Guess where the Tinkerbellarellas will NEVER living?

On a good note, by check book balanced right away. That's always a good thing. Now off to figure out what bills I can pay this week.

Hey there tagless/formerly tagless. Hope all of you had a fantabulous Monday. We had a 1/2 day for kids, which makes a 1 and 1/2 day for us educators. No students tomorrow. Some idiot made our calendar . . .why didn't they just give the kids a 3-day weekend?

That makes no sense. Kids here have Friday and next Monday off. DD is thrilled to have a 4-day weekend. Teachers have an in-service day Friday.

My kids have Friday off, (4-day weekend) but my district started earlier and the semester ended today. I still think we could have waited until Friday for this day.

we have been remodeling our house for 4 years now and been moving walls and doors making rooms bigger and some smaller and add rooms - we had a temp. one there till we were done with the walls I am so excited our room is almost done!!! the living room is almost done the bathroom still had work to be done plus we are adding a huge master suite and the old master will go to the boys and their room will be another bathroom (we only have one right now) I just can't wait till it's done I am kind of tired of the mess and crap that comes along with it....

It will feel great when it's done. Who knows how long I have to wait. Don't know when I will be able to afford floors. My living room is 24 x 28 so the floor will be expensive. I totally understand about being sick of the mess.

That would be me as well. I have never been to Starbucks and I'm short.
